I liked this one. This was the first of their oddball episodes that I think really, totally worked (of the ones in recent years)

 

I liked this episode a lot actually. Dennis and Frank were gold. " I was getting ready to slide into her Charlie " had me dieing lol.

 

Frank was definitely the high point for me. When he inserted himself into the episode it became a lot better.

 

This show is literally the only reason I hate not having cable (or anything comparable). I pay for the iTunes pass, but it sucks seeing people talk about it and not being able to watch until the next day.

 

Best episode of the season so far. Vintage Sunny, but with their new oddball touch.

Dee's entrance into the house in her Hawaiian shirt, and Uncle Jack in the scout leader costume was gold.

 

May or may not be ashamed at how hard I just laughed at Dee shitting herself.

 

The second half was amazing, but I feel like they over-explained the premise a bit in the first half. The first time they introduced the laugh track they literally did the exact same joke again as if we didn't catch it the first time. It's absolutely nitpicking, and the only reason I'm doing it is because these episodes go by so damn fast and the jokes are so great I want as many as possible. Dee was the best.

Also I was rewatching Mac Fights Gay Marriage last night and during the scene when Charlie and Frank are cracking each others backs I was thinking about how much I want a bottle episode with no plot that's just Charlie and Frank hanging out in their apartment.

 

Great episode. Really digging this season so far, although there haven't been too many parts that make me laugh extra hard like past seasons.

I don't know why, but I always love Uncle Jack scenes. Scout costume, looking for his hard drive in the floorboards, getting pushed away by Charlie... Always funny to me. "Oh, Frank. Didn't realize Bonnie was expecting company. I would have put my hands on...."

 

The hands joke is getting a bit tired I think. It was hilarious in 'Dennis Gets Divorced' when he meets with the other lawyer. "We're lawyers!" I had an IASIP themed house party for my 25th, and my buddy dressed as uncle Jack and did that hands thing and it's the greatest photo ever.

The Scout costume killed me.

 

The Hands never get old. That courtroom ep last season is one of the best they've done in years, and Uncle Jack was a big part of that. He and the lawyer both automatically make an ep better than average.

 

So far, I like this season better than the last.

I was also annoyed by this, but I do like that they really went out of their way to emphasize how cheap laugh tracks are.

 

Damn, this season is 3/3 so far.

Was the premise where you made a show about yourself, Kaitlin leaves Sunny to star in it, and you call it "The Mick"?
