Didn't say it was an issue, just a general curiosity.

He spoke in Game of thrones but it was a fictional language and he was a man of few words. Had a couple speeches though.

Seeing Book Of Mormon tonight in their 4th Australian performance.

Anyone seen it? Broadway or elsewhere? South Park's my favourite show of all-time. and I'm a huge musical theatre nerd, so it's a double-whammy.

I've run out of Midnight Diner to watch and I actually feel pretty miserable.

Rewatching Mad Men, the relationship between Don and Anna Draper has been more of an issue. His level of devotion to her is never really explained; obviously he is grateful to her for concealing his identity, but the show overplays the potential for a maternal relationship that is too on-the-nose. He is completely fine without her until the show finds a reason to send him to California, and it never feels like it resolves much.

What's worse, giving MDE more positive attention or putting Westworld as #1 on your list???

The Master has grown in my appreciation over the years more than any other movie.

I was very lukewarm on The Master when it came out and now it's my favorite PTA film. Probably my most watched movie of the last 5 years.

I went to see it at midnight the day it came out here and I was too tired to appreciate it. A second time in the theater confirmed its greatness, and I find myself thinking about it more and more as time goes on. The thing that I keep thinking about is the way the film depicts how people lose control when they think they are untouchable, particularly Dodd at the party where someone questions his practices and Freddy just riding away with the motorcycle. Also, the violence depicted in the film is so much closer to what you would see in reality; no choreography, chaotic, and sudden. I need to watch it again.

Weekly 16mm showings of arthouse films begins tonight in Detroit with Killer of Sheep, then Jarmusch's Down by Law next week. Very awesome series that I'm excited to get to be a part of, if anyone's near the area.

Is there a better Great Depression film I can show the kids than The Grapes of Wrath? The kids are going to be so bored.

I think I'm going to show my kids Citizen Kane and All the President's Men for Journalism. Is Good Night and Good Luck worth watching as well?

    No, it isn't.

I have Marie Antoinette on deck for my World History and likely Grapes of Wrath for U.S. History.

Who told Kit Harington to do that accent in Brimstone? That person needs to become unemployed.

The first season of Friday Night Lights had a lot of strengths even if it was often too corny and melodramatic. The second season starts with teenagers accidentally killing a rapist and dumping his body. Is this a sign of things to come? I could get out now.
