Haha he had a small band, the name escapes me. But Ronnie Radke wrote a song with them or for them, and he just basically always vehemently defended every single unpopular opinion on that website with that little extra "I'm in the scene" snobbishness. He was pretty damn awful. I don't recall if there was a good banning story, probably just an accumulation of years of unbearableness lol.

 

Has that Travis interview happened yet today? If so, did anyone catch it?

 

Suppose to happen at 7:15am Pacific Time. Not sure if it did, although I don't see why it wouldn't, but yeah I haven't heard anything about it so I wonder if nothing was said except to promote his Musink event.

EDIT: According to Travis' Instagram the interview did happen as he thanked KROQ.

 

Just finished listening to the Travis interview. Mostly talked about Musink. As for Blink - he said that they recorded 13 songs for the deluxe edition. He didnt specify if all of them would be on the deluxe edition, though. He said they arent keeping the songs for their next album because the earliest their next album could come out is end of 2018, and they think these songs are so good that they want people to hear them now. Reason why he said 2018 is because California is doing so well the label wants to keep promoting it.
Some song names he mentioned were "Parking Lot" and "Misery." Also said there's another short joke song about pregnancy.
Oh and he didnt give a release date but said it will be coming out in the next few months.

 

Psyched for the outrage and 23 page debate about the pregnancy song.

 

Thanks for the info. Makes sense they wouldn't put out a new album until 2018, which goes with Mark saying he wants to get back on an every 2 years new album cycle. Really hope all 13 songs make it, I'm willing to wait a few more months if it means more songs. If they already recorded the 13 songs and aren't keeping the songs for their next album it would seem silly not to release them, right?

 

Bahh. Summer 2018 would be better. But I bet Matt does something for Alkaline Trio in between now and then.

 

News about Travis working with Feldy on new Goldfinger was a surprise.

 

I think he and Feldy have been Snapchatting it, though Goldfinger is really just John at this point.

 

Damn Panic is already platinum. I knew it had a good debut around 200k, but I had no idea it could do that in less than a year. Think they'll (or he since it's just Brendon lol) be a bigger contender for rock album than I thought.

 

The interviewer kept interrupting Travis which got annoying.

Damn, you're right. Love the guitar tone, the chorus is fantastic, and the back and forth between Tom and Mark in the bridge rules.

 

I make one comment about not liking joke songs on the subreddit and get shit on by a ton of people. I swear those guys think blink-182 = Jesus and any criticism against them is punishable by damnation to Hell. Haha.

 

I love this so much. I've known and noticed he says "she said" so much, but I actually really enjoy it. Thankfully it's almost always catchy.

I feel like someone's username is "And She Said" either on here or on a forum I frequent.
