new song is amazing, so excited.

 

Don't get me wrong No Halo is amazing and one of my five favorite songs on the album - it's a perfect opener for the album

 

This band needs to go on their own headlining tour. Hopefully that's in the works following the MoBo tour.

It's incredible

 

Yep, it's a winner. Definitely sets the stage for the rest of the album, tone and production-wise. Love how huge the guitars are throughout this thing.

 

anybody have the lyrics to this yet? This albums gonna tear me apart and I'm ready for it.

 

I get the same vibe! I figured I'd be able to find it on discogs and if I end up paying too much for it then oh well, future me can handle that.

 

A little bit, also some Deja-era Brand New stuff.

^ yeah the pacing of this reminds me so much of "quiet things" along with the way the vocals are layered.

I loved joy, departed and love this song. I just pre ordered based on you and Cohen hyping it. Don't let me down!

 

I get a Motion City Soundtrack vibe from most of this album. Serious subject matter approached uniquely and with self-awareness and a sense of humor. Big guitars and bigger hooks. Reminds me of My Dinosaur Life.

 

I'm gonna need someone to take that torch now that they're done.

I was excited about this album the minute the started teasing it, but boy oh boy am I hyped now.

 

This record is beautiful, ugly, uplifting and devastating all at once.
