Earthbound has such an amazing atmosphere

 

Xenogears is an amazing half a game!

 

I need to play more JRPGs. I'm assuming Chrono Trigger isn't on PS4? I think I have FF7, and X at my disposal. I may play them after I beat FFXV.

 

There's a new JRPG out next week, Tales of Berseria! @Cameron - pretty sure Brett's buying it. so you'll have that too.

 

Isn't Tales a series? Won't I be lost?

 

Tales of Destiny on the original PS was cool because you could have multiplayer battles.

 

It's like Final Fantasy, no real continuation (for the most part). I think some of the previous Tales characters show up, but by and large it's all-new.

What's the battle system for Tales games? All turn-based?

 

They're all action RPGs, but you don't battle in the overworld, you hit an enemy in the overworld and then go to a separate screen like you would in a turn based RPG.

 

No, it's fairly down to earth (for a JRPG that is), but it's a beautifull game, probably one of the three best JRPGs

 

Is Borderlands considered an open world? It's pretty linear, but you can go anywhere and complete quests in any order in the areas you've already unlocked.

 

I am so excited to replay DQ8 on 3DS tomorrow.

Switch still has motion controls. The JoyCons and the Pro controller have motion and stuff like 1,2 Switch and ARMS are primarily motion controlled.

The WiiU had motion controlls. The gamepad had it, most notably used in Splatoon and Star Fox, and it supported Wii Remotes. It just wasn't a big thing generally.
