It disappeared yesterday but I just checked and it is back up.

 

New album just finished tracking

 

I saw her tweet with the note about "piano, maybe strings" and then "just piano and screams", lol. I seriously can't wait for this. I'm curious to see if the collab with Andy Hull shows up here or if that was something for Manchester Orchestra (or something else entirely).

 

Andy posted that right? Im guessing its Manchester based purely on that.

 

Yeah that was my assumption, too. Especially since it's pretty clear that she's currently in the studio, or at least was very recently.

 

This just made my day.

 

I'd love to hear 1 slightly upbeat track on this

I'm not necessarily hoping for an upbeat song, but it would be interesting to hear one eventually. I'm sure she'll have one at some point.

 

I'm sure it'll happen eventually, but I just can't picture her singing a happy upbeat song.

Then again, after Swiss Army Romance and TPYHCTFTM I couldn't picture one from Dashboard either....

 

Funeral Pyre might be my favorite song she has put out so far.

This is such a small thing, but I love how often she refers to the interviewer by name. It's so personable.

I've come to terms with pro athletes being younger than me, but I have a love/hate relationship with Julien Baker over her age =(

 

Just found out about the Accident Prone cover today. Oh my god.

Imagine being Tom. Having that attached to your name forever.

 

Right?? I bet Tom was thinking it would be a really cool cover that meant a lot and didn't expect to get absolutely crushed

 

Oh, she has a Nothing Better cover as well. Today is a good day.

 

I really hope she blows up this year just like Julien did. Her new song "Smoke Signals" is fucking phenomenal, NPR posted about it this morning so that's a good sign for her.
