Traveling scares me because of this.

I've done it maybe two dozen times and still get it wrong every time.

 

I always feel like I'm burdening someone when I do full service and they pump the gas for me

 

From personal experience, this happens to everyone at one point.

 

I seek out full service whenever I go to PA or NY.

 

That's why I just don't go to NJ.

 

How's full-service even work? Do you give them your credit card and tell them how much to put in and stand there and wait? Have never done it before

 

I visit Oregon a lot (going there tomorrow) and the worst is pulling in to the gas station and it not being busy and it taking forever for someone to get to you. In the time it takes sometimes I could have pumped my own and been outta there.

 

More or less. Some of the places check your tires and all that.

 

I always use the thing that holds the handle down and it overflowed on me yesterday. I told the attendant it was broken and she said that they knew it was that's why there was this weird gravel like stuff I was standing on. I mean they could put a bag on the pump like they normally do when it's out of order.

 

Oh, the oil dry? Surprised they didn't bother to sweep it up and bag the pump if it was that much of an issue.

 

I can't imagine having someone else put petrol in my car.

 

I had to google that but yeah the oil dry.

 

Someone seriously made an account just to post "fuck this site" a few times on their profile. So strange.

I hate full service gas stations, so much easier to just do it yourself.

 

Just ordered this cause I felt like treating myself

 

I saw that guy on the chorus facebook who was mad because he'd have to click 2 links instead of comments being on the front page. I almost reactivated my FB so I could tell him just how idiotic he sounds.

 

We have one station here that does full service but only rich people use them. Their gas prices are outrageous. No way would my broke ass pay as much as people do there. I know how to do all of that stuff and it's free.

 

What's outrageous? I pay $2.40 for premium and I feel gross. Even so, it only costs me maybe $17 to fill.

 

My favorite part about that is that if you're on the homepage of AP.net and you click the word that says "replies" you go to the replies, if you're on the homepage of chorus and hit the quote bubble, you go to the replies. I liked the guy that said he only would check out new music by the number of comments they had. Makes me regret talking a lot in threads about really bad bands!

 

Last time I heard anything about the station it was $5 a gallon. Most people drive duallys and SUV's so it's super expensive. I thought that it was gas gouging but I guess since they're privately owned that they can charge whatever they want.

I would hate having someone else pump my gas. Seems like it would take longer, you'd have to tip, just nothing convenient about it

 

Spending the weekend and then some in Oregon, and not pumping my gas is something I'm legitimately looking forward to.
