I can still throw on Dear Diary when I'm drunk with friends for a few songs to remember the GOOD OLD DAYS

 

That album was way better than it should have been. Sonny and Kenny Vasoli were the best 16 year old vocalists with wide released LP's of all time.

 

Alright, the lyrics are bad for sure. But I can't deny I had fun listening to this. Matt and Travis are still writing cool guitar parts.

 

Why is everyone so hype about this new track? Pretty cringe imo.

Dear Diary still rules -- no shame. This was fun at the very least, but man...those lyrics are so, so, so bad.

 

These drums are getting on my nerve real quick

 

I do enjoy the music, I think it's a fun song. But I will say... I honestly don't know if I can make it through a whole album of lyrics THAT horrendous. With this one reunion track I can already barely tolerate how obnoxiously awful they are while mainly focusing on the fun music, but I don't think I'll be able to manage that if they release a whole album.

I agree, it's pretty tame but I still dug the catchiness of the main intro riff and thought it was enjoyable overall. And vocally I don't think he's ever sounded better. But yeah, the lyrics bring it down a lot.
