oh maybe it was tbd, i watched it a long time ago lol

  2. Doesn't really matter. But it's always interesting to hear bands talk about their releases.

This is probably a bit embarrassing but... Wanderlust is my favorite song from the band. In terms of what album I enjoy the most from front to back, Ex Lives wins.

  5. I'm glad I waited until their headlining tour, I just bought tickets to the Middle East show. It's gonna be fucking awesome. So much better than the Palladium.

I'm going to assume you're referring to the Worcester Palladium. Did you see them there? I saw them downstairs in 2013 opening for Hatebreed and Anthrax at NEMF. One of the most disappointing live sets I've ever seen.

  7. Yup, Worcester. I've seen them there a bunch of times as a supporting act and they obviously kill it, by the venue doesn't fit them. I need to see them in a smaller club with no barrier. The intimacy of those shows is real. You can feel a difference in their performance.

Don't be embarrassed it's a great song. The song that got me into the band. I'd probably put it in my top ten.

Wanderlust is amazing. One of their best straight up rock songs for sure. That's my favorite ETID style.

"Wanderlust" is dope, Ex-Lives is dope. No need to feel embarrassed.

I just remember mentioning that to one of the hardcore-heads at NEMF and he laughed at it. My areas of expertise are metal and rock so I access that style a lot more.

Also, Crack the Skye is maybe my favorite Mastodon album. Another band where you can't go wrong no matter what your favorite is.

Yeah Wanderlust rules, although I seem to like NJA more than a lot of people

Absolutely. Although I do flame one of my friends a lot for preferring The Hunter and Once More 'Round The Sun. CTS and Leviathan are metal classics imo

The Hunter is their only release I'm not crazy about. I feel they bounced back pretty good with OMRtS.

It's impossible for me to pick favorites from the new album. I feel like it's uniformly great from start to finish. C++, Awful Lot, It Remembers, Coin, and Map Change are probably my top five if I had to pick.

Swap out Awful Low with Fear and Trembling for me, but you're right it's tough to choose.
