I thought Julie Byrne's new record was set to be released on on the 27th? Dying to hear it either way

 

Foxing released a 'two' today which is described as 'a new spin on old classics.' It's re-recordings of indict and redwoods. Literally anything from Foxing is gold.

 

There's also a new Lovedrug album up on Spotify! I'm still working through it, but it seems like it's alternative versions of lots of songs from their discography with their newest lineup (which sound incredible). There is literally no news of this anywhere weirdly

Didnt realize a new Colony House album was coming out. Really enjoyed their last album so I'll be checking that out today. I've never heard of the XX up until recently because I keep seeing their name pop up on festival lineups. I'll give that a spin too.

How's the new XX? Have not been a fan of the singles.

 

Got through about half of Colony House heading to work and it's a lot of fun.

 

Natalie Hemby's Puxico is my recommendation for today. The first great album of 2017.

I'll probably check out Colony House, mostly because I'm a massive Steven Curtis Chapman fan.

I sort of wish I was still a Flaming Lips fans, but honestly, I just don't care anymore.

 

It's great indeed!

 

A little too happy and up-beat for my liking. It took me awhile for On Hold to grow on me.

 

Yay, back to busy release days. Got a few things I'll definitely be checking out today.

The XX and I actually enjoy the new Flaming Lips album a pretty decent amount. Also plan to check out Dryjacket, since I've heard their name thrown out. I literally have no idea who or what they are though, I don't even know their genre. Also might get around to Code Orange.

 

Trying really hard to get into The XX. Just spent $65 on tickets to go see them, mainly because Phoenix is opening. What's the general opinion around here on them? They are playing a pretty big outdoor venue, didn't realize they were THAT big.

 

The xx don't exactly have radio hits but I'd say they pretty popular. I feel like "Intro" has been used in commercials and stuff.

I'm still waiting on some new Phoenix singles to come out

 

New Foxygen single as well. Really exciting hearing this record shape up

 

Really excited about the Top Chaplin stateside release today. Checking that one out for sure. Also The xx, One OK Rock, Colony House, and the new single "Bite My Tongue" from The Beach.
