Some people don't like to dip their fries in a frosty. It is absurd.

I've tried it, it's not really my thing.

I'm not weirded out by it because I like sweet+salty but the only thing I dip fries in is ketchup. Unless they're cheese fries, in which case, ranch.

For me, the only thing I want on my fries is salt. Or garlic salt.

I made tuna salad for lunch. Not bad, since I only had a spoonful of mayo left and substituted Italian dressing instead.

Mayo is one thing I just can't really do, especially in "salads" (tuna salad, potato salad, etc).

If it's on something like a sandwich or a burger, it's okay but still not great. I don't mind it in those cases if it's not straight mayo - something like a horseradish mayo or a chipotle mayo is preferred.

Have some friends coming to town who are vegan, so I get to take them to some vegan/vegetarian places while they're here.

I eat meat but I also find vegan/vegetarian restaurants to be delicious! Will have some great meals the next couple days.

it's remarkable how sometimes when i get really hungry but don't have energy/money/time/etc to make real food, i can just eat a few slices of white bread and be satisfied. i can't tell if i'm poor or just unnecessarily frugal.

2 bucks a loaf and i tell myself i'll end up making sandwiches, then five pieces of bread later i realize i'm not hungry anymore anyway

I can't seem to finish a loaf before it goes bad these days. All the paleo anti carb stuff. Although I still eat pasta pretty regularly

Fried up a bunch of shit yesterday.

Cut up an onion and threw it in some egg/flour. Turned out real good.

Threw some wings in and let them fry until super crispy, then tossed them in some Franks and dipped in blue cheese. These were good, but I probably should've let them get even crispier... skin was still a little chewy in some spots.

Chicken tenders dredged in buttermilk/egg and dipped in flour/seasoning. These were the best. Needed some cream gravy or something, but since I didn't have anything else, I just used the Franks and BC.

Totino's pizza rolls - Pretty standard, but the crispy exterior was nice.

I had some frozen waffle fries and "oven chips" - Both turned out good. Much better than doing them in the oven, due to crispness

Breaded a piece of catfish using the same buttermilk/egg/flour - Was good, but should try it next time using cornmeal or something else instead.

I'll probably get a bit more adventurous when I have more time. Did quite a bit of already prepared frozen stuff this time, since it was easier, but I plan on getting some pancake/waffle batter to bread chicken and other things next time. Also will try the "donuts" using biscuit dough.

Haha. Yeah, that was pretty much all I ate all day. It wasn't as much as it seems. I only made wings, tenders, fish, onion rings, fries and pizza rolls.

Ok, yeah I may have over done it a bit.

Sounds delicious though. That bloomin' onion idea was clutch. Sounds delicious.

It came out more like onion rings/strings because of the way I cut the onion, but I definitely want to do the bloomin' onion thing next time.

Try avocado, corn, green tomatoes, okra, pickles, and of course chicken. Those are my favorites.
