i bought a non-floor ticket but may try to get a floor ticket in the general sale. (floor at msg is still not a particularly intimate experience so i'm not bothered if it doesn't happen.) either way, can't wait for this show

 

I had a floor ticket for the o2 arena show that was recorded and release on Christmas Day and it was amazing to be in the crowd at something of that size. The energy isn't lost at a show of that size for a band with their production and if anything, they're one of the few bands I'd now prefer to see play bigger shows that can boast and show off their stage set up etc. rather than playing a sweatbox anymore.

That being said - if there hadn't have been screens either side of the stage for the crowd to watch the show on too at the o2, I might have felt differently.

 

I had too many meetings this morning, so I unfortunately couldn't try and snag a ticket. Maybe tomorrow!

Has there been any indication that the MSG show will be something special? (different/longer setlist, etc.) compared to the rest of the tour? I know it is June 1st which is an important day to the band at a legendary venue... This will determine if I go for the ticket.
