Metallica or Foo Fighters

Foo Fighters is a bad band with only, like, two or three good songs that I've heard

 

Whoa. I mean, this is the place to post that. Even if someone doesn't like whole albums, I think from a single stand point the Foos have released a ton of good songs.

 

Foo Fighters haven't put together a good album on the whole since the 90's but S/T is a sorely underrated classic

 

foo fighters are total ass, i used to defend them but really theyre fucking awful

 

There's "Everlong" and that's basically it for me.

 

Foo Fighters are good. Thursday is good. Cymbals is good. Japandroids are good.

It's almost like...music is good.

 

Man, with songs like Burning Bridges, Walk, Let It Die, Break Out, Everlong, and Best of Me I can't take any of these anti Foo statements seriously.

 

And I know everyone in here gets down with All My Life, so stop kidding yourselves

 

Everlong is dope, a lot of their early stuff is fun. Really don't like most of their newer music. Titus Andronicus is okay, I never got too heavy into them but The Monitor was a good album. Cymbals are okay, I've only heard their last album and it underwhelmed me a bit. Idc if I can name the best major "rock" bands out. The National, maybe? Menzos are holding it down too. Jeff Rosenstock is a god too

 

I like Everlong and Learn To Fly. My Hero is petty solid, but I don't think I've enjoyed any songs I've heard past the album with Everlong on it

Honestly, anytime I ever hear about the Foo Fighters, the first thing I think of is THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST.

I guess out of the ones I've seen mentioned in here, I'd say The National, Cloud Nothings, Tame Impala

 

I'll take Busted over any of those bands.

The 1975 and The Hotelier would be my serious answers though.

 

I prefer Cove Reber's style of vocals over Anthony Green.

 

The first three Foo albums are great and since then they've been mainly turgid

I would take Busted over Cymbals though

 

I also like Japandroids more than probably any band mentioned not be me over the last page.
