As of today, Wakefield is distributed in my part of Florida. So very pumped.

Had a solid run this week. My buddy picked me up some Focal Banger a few weeks ago and finally dropped it off. Then today I was able to head to Treehouse and Trillium. Picked up Curiosity 29 (IPA), Bright(IIPA), and Transitions (autumn wild ale) from Treehouse and Congress Street and Mosaic Cutting Tiles from Trillium. Needless to say I've got some great IPAs to drink now.

wish a Treehouse visit wasn't an insane planning trip for me. i'd love to be able to just get in a car and go there instead of fly somewhere, rent a car, etc.

Does anyone know if Cigar City has any plans to distribute to Ohio? I'd kill to try Jai Alai IPA.

Got my 6-pack of Hopslam yesterday. Being on a diet now is depressing though, because I'm trying to limit any beer intake to only on the weekends.

Had a ridiculous trip to Hill Farmstead over the weekend. Double Barrel Damon and Daybreak in the taproom, Port Damon, Phenomenology of Spirit, and a whole bunch of Society & Solitude growlers to take home. For anyone considering a New England beer road trip, your trip should still be centered around VT.

I haven't tried hipster brunch stout yet but odd side is my jam

  14. I haven't heard anything about CCB expanding distribution yet, but I think it should be on the horizon. CCB is now partnered with Oskar Blues, which has national distribution, so one would assume plans would be in the works to increase CCB's distro footprint in the near future.

If I could get CCB in Michigan I'd be ecstatic.

You go anywhere else while you were there? The new Alchemist setup is great, super easy in and out to pick up cans. Just wish they had a taproom you could hang out in, but the bars in Waterbury make up for that with their tap selections. I love it up there.

Didn't make it to the Alchemist unfortunately, my brother had been up about a month ago and we still have some Focal so I figured it wasn't worth rushing over there in the narrow window we had between arriving in Stowe and our dinner reservation. (Hen of the Wood in Waterbury, amazing food and only place to my knowledge with Heady on draught!) I'll make it there eventually, a few of my more beer inclined friends have been talking VT trip forever and with the relative ease of getting there from Boston it's only a matter of time.

We did get lunch at Lost Nation, which has a prime location right in the middle of the HF->Waterbury run. Food was fantastic and their beer is very good. Their IPA cans seem to be hit or miss from batch to batch, but I think their stuff that hits is very good, especially on the more farmhousey end of the spectrum. I highly recommend The Wind if you haven't tried that.

And then the regularity of HF and Lawson's on tap everywhere else up there is just icing on the cake.

Finally went to Corridor Brewing and Provisions, which was under construction my last 6 months of living downtown. Really great stuff. Highlight was a Brett Biere de Noël as a collab with Une Anneé.
