sounds like it was under-seasoned and they cut into it without letting it rest... did it come sliced? I hate when I have high expectations for a place that have been building for a good amount of time and then it sucks. also, I can't picture you eating a medium rare steak.

 

It wasn't sliced. The outside seemed to have a very hard sear on it and I'm not sure if that contributed to the dryness. I wish it had been seasoned or had some nice sauce! So disappointing. I've come a long way now that I am old. I cringe thinking of the things I wouldn't eat before, so many meats and eggs benny down the drain, RIP.

Being a vegan sounds terrible anyway, cheese is life and that vegan cheese is a foul substance IMO.

 

I could never be vegan or vegetarian, too picky, try to have a couple of vegetarian meals a week at least though

 

The hardest part for me is definitely dairy. I love ice cream and vegan ice cream makes me sick and I die a little everytime I walk down the ice cream aisle.

 

I had coconut milk ice cream for the first time last night... will be buying a pint asap.

most people who are vegan have no fucking clue how to do it right, so they're actually fucking themselves over in the end. there are vegans who are healthy but not many
