The one I thought I would spin more often now is the leaked demos but that hasen't happened very much

 

I've basically chopped the Leaked Demos up and taken the ones I didn't already have a better version of and put them with the others like the full Fork and Knife and Coca Cola and made a semi B-sides album.

 

Cool what is the track listing?

Anybody have a good Out of range version?

 

Brand New is that band that only has 4 albums but somehow i have over 100 songs from them on my itunes lol (including live recordings / acoustic stuff / demos / whatever)

 

It's not great as the tracks are all quite different in style but I have it like this (including Mene as it doesn't have a home as such)

Interesting. Is it Nobody Moves prime? I think I prefer that one. Someone here send it to me AP but I never took the time to get it and now I don't remember who that was lol

It's looking more and more likely to me that whatever we're getting from Brand New this year is coming after the tour. Maybe a couple new things in their setlist, but as far as official release of new tracks, things are looking unlikely.

 

It's never going to happen is my guess.

 

yep, they're gonna scrap it, then call it done after this tour.

 

I would love to know what goes on behind the scenes with Brand New. Have they recorded a bunch of material and decided it just wasn't good enough? Do they just not write very often? I would love to know how this band operates just for curiosity's sake.

I'll be there as well. Coming from Madison so i'm looking to get a hotel too. Prices are insane that weekend due to july 4th but I've been monitoring groupon deals. I think anywhere in the general vicinity of the venue is a good location to enjoy the city and be accessible.

 

I'm still in two minds about which one to opt for. I'm so used to the original that it just feels like that's the one, but the other feels like the more finalised version.

Yeah, the holiday weekend does not help at all. Hopefully they aren't doing the airshow that weekend too. The biggest kick in the dick for me is that my sister lives in Chicago, but will have a new baby. I am not sure if it will make sense for me to stay with her. We'll see how it goes haha.

 

What makes you say that?

Their last two releases came out in the Fall. Seems more appropriate for their style of music to release during that season anyway.

 

Well you might have to change a diaper but chances are she'll be up when you stumble in anyway.

 

Hahaha yeah, I have no issues rolling the sleeves up and helping out. She has 2 year old twins as well. It's just a question of do her and her husband really need guests coming and going because I am going with at least one other person. Plus, having enough room for everyone becomes an issue fast for families in the city.

12 times? Damn, this will be 6 or 7 for me. However, I will say one of them was early on might have been the first time they played Cleveland. I didn't even know who they were and I don't think Your Favorite Weapon had been formally released yet.

 

Thats awesome. Cant say I saw them that early. I'm originally from the NYC area so I was lucky to see them a bunch. Haven't seen them since I moved to the midwest 3 years ago. Best show I ever saw was Jesse and Kevin in Hoboken

 

That would be cool to see them acoustic. Definitely a neat change from the full band stuff.
