Really cool list. Very surprised The Masquerade didn't make this list.

they must not report their numbers, as they are just as prominent and active a venue as most on that list

Of the seven Chicago venues in the list, I only went to two of them in 2016. I've never been to Thalia Hall, City Winery, or Park West and I rarely go to the others. Most of the shows I go to happen to be at House of Blues.

Dave is no longer in Crown the Empire. The band claimed they never saw or heard him make anything musicially or artistically in the four years he was in the band.

Dave was the only reason I liked that band. That's unfortunate. Oh well, one less band to spend ticket money on.

It seems like you're not the only one who feels that way based off the replies to the post on Facebook.

I like the rendering of it. Kind of the best of the orbit room and intersection combined.

Ey now, The Fallout was a great album in my opinion lol.

But yeah, they're very hypocritical in saying that he doesn't write any of their music, yet since the beginning they have had a ghostwriter write all their songs. I hope to see Dave come out good, especially considering he actually wants to write.

I really loved limitless, me and brandon were friends on FB well before the EP was released and they were dying to get on warped for the entire summer. however.. there is waaaaaaaay more to it than that, I got shit for saying it on AP a year or so ago, so I won't bring it back up. but hard work pays off, unless you pay for hard work. ;) the ghostwriter thing doesn't surprise me, the fallout, and rise of the runaways both had a theme to them, and it's obvious now that, someone was simply telling a story within the 2 albums. dave is a really cool dude, as well as hayden.

Was a hometown show but sold out the 2500 cap Fillmore on the Joyce Manor tour. Crazy to see how big that band has gotten.

Doug from Night Verses did one of those Instagram live things and I asked if Night Verses would be coming back to Chicago any time soon and he said something like "very soon, actually". Tour maybe?

Would anyone be interested in a tour merch thread? Basically a thread showing what merch bands are bringing while on tour. We see it most every year for Warped, but aside from that I find it quite impossible to find merch photos for other tours most places.

Suffocation asked on Facebook if people would be interested in them touring with Suicide Silence.

Oh yeah, oh yeah, everything is terrible.

I personally would like if that happened, but by this point if that happened that would be quite controversial. Suicide Silence aren't the band they were back in the 2007-2010 days anymore and Doris pretty much caused a ruckus among the metal community when it was posted days ago.

That being said, I can see it happening. It has been shown that both bands are great friends, even Frank Mullen made a guest appearance on a song.
