I'm sure it is Thrawn, but he'll be more human than alien in appearance. I think it could still work. Eager to see.

I think this one is going to have a lot of ground missions, but there are already some awesome space shots around the Death Star! I with you though, I want one good dogfight.

Ridley/Jones are both super strong actresses. Disney is crushing it with casting.

 

Got goosebumps, this looks great.

 

I don't know if I could be more excited. A little disappointed I didn't get to see any Mads Mikkelsen though.

 

damn, that was fantastic. Ben Mendelsohn looks so menacing. Gareth Edwards was the perfect choice to direct this. Also, this movie scored the cinematographer of Zero Dark Thirty and Killing Them Softly

 

holy shit I totally forgot he is in this too! wow, what an amazing group working on this movie.

Yeah honestly I think it looks better than Force Awakens..which I loved. I get its too early for that kind of thing though

Funniest scene of the year.

 

Very excited for this. I just love the concept for this movie, so I'm all-in based on that alone. Then they announced the cast and I got more excited. This trailer has done nothing to temper the hype flames.

Agreed. Also, I think it's great that people who genuinely love Star Wars are making the movies now. People who know why Star Wars appealed to so many in the first place. I give Lucas massive amounts of credit, but a story like this, from what it seems, could have never been told by him today.

 

I'm aware the story focuses on "regular" people, but I wonder if there will be any Jedi/Sith/lightsabers.

 

From some googling looks like he's only an admiral. Not grand....yet.

 

Everyone is pretty sure Darth Vader is gonna show up and destroy some rebels.

 

Also, if that's really Thrawn, I should probably read the Zahn trilogy. That's been my biggest "I should really get to that" from the EU for years.

 

I sure hope we continue to see a trend in badass LEAD female characters.

 

Duh, totally forgot about that.

 

They must be saving him. Smart. I really want to know his role.
