Lol that guy was dumb af. They should've made it so he wanted to get closure by going to the woods and idk maybe looking for something to indicate what happened and as he got freaked and the witch messed with him in the house maybe he can think she's still alive. But dude.

I didn't think any of them were assholes besides the one flag dude tho. I honestly don't think there was any development or focus on them as characters for me to even form much of an opinion on them tho

 

I don't have any problem with any of the characters.

 

To be fair, I din't think the characters in The Blair Witch Project were all that likable either.

 

The things that actually happened are crazier than his sister still being alive.

And I loved all the characters.

 

So what was the best horror of 2016? Lists?

 

Green Room

 

Green Room was my favorite too.

 

I think the horror movie I got the most out of this year was 10 Cloverfield Lane

 

Green Room and The Witch

 

The Witch definitely. Might be my favorite horror film of the 2010s

The Blackcoat's Daughter hasn't seen an official release yet, so I guess it probably shouldn't be included, but it was easily my favorite I saw this year.

 

I don't even remember what was last year. I liked conjuring 2 and Cloverfield lane and Blair Witch and green room (fave) and lights out (not greatness but I was entertained and enjoyed the characters) and autopsy of jane doe. I disliked about everything else I watched.

Hush is probably my favorite horror wise of last year.

The Witch, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Don't Breathe, The Conjuring 2 were all great though

 

Don't Breath would probably top my list. Horrifying, but I couldn't look away.

 

The Wailing

 

The Witch for me. Pretty solid year though.

 

Yea, The Witch was a pleasant surprise for me

 

The Witch is the best horror movie in awhile tbh
