This was my fear. Might help explain why that pair posted earlier is so expensive.

This might be a stupid question, but if I get a Mac sometime soon will my iTunes library move to it when I log into iTunes or will I have to move it to an external HD or something and put everything on it?

Your Apple profile and any files bought through Apple would carry over via the cloud. Anything you uploaded yourself would have to be re-uploaded.

Makes sense. I'll likely put them on a HD to make moving them easier. Thank you!

Not sure how many songs/albums you are talking about, but I thought there was an Apple conversion option for songs you uploaded to be swapped out for Apple's files free of charge. If you did that, that would cut down on what you need to transfer because everything would be in the Apple cloud.

Just realized something. I started buying Apple products 8 years ago and I've never stepped foot inside an Apple Store. The closest one is forty minutes away.

Random, but I just wanted to share :-)

I think that's a good thing. Those places are living zoos in my opinion. Closest thing we have to anarchy are those stores. Half kidding.

I'll look into that! It's a few hundred gigs worth of music. Some of it was purchased on iTunes but most of it comes from buying CD's and putting them into my iTunes or digital downloads from vinyl.
Honestly it's probably better for me to get a HD anyway just in case.

still clinging to my 4s with a sticky lock button, and honestly the only reason i'm going to upgrade is because i can't fit my music library + a couple apps and shows on a 32GB device.

aaand i'll feel like i'm using a supercomputer once i upgrade which i remember being a great feeling (BB Curve 8900 [lol] > 4s).

When I got my MacBook, I just put all my music (50 GBs or so) onto my flash drive and then dropped them into my music file, and from there into iTunes.

I have it in my car, and all I can say is they really need to work on it. It's pretty buggy for me. Songs don't always have audio, Siri works about 60% of the time and notifications don't work as good as they should. This is all on an aftermarket head-unit though, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I have it in my car and it's not really an advantage over using just blue tooth. I would like it if it could be wireless.

That's amazing dude. The battery held up all this time?

I think it is wireless now, if the actual head-unit supports wireless connection. Mine doesn't. I kind of like the wired connection though because it charges my phone while I'm using it.

    Be my alibi?

all new technology looks dorky. People talking into boxes to other people looked pretty dorky and crazy, but marketing and hype made them the must have item. Anyone that doesn't have a smart phone/device is viewed as strange. Ear buds were all the rage until Beats made headphones cool again. Once the technology is released, there will be a plethora of people working on making it as marketable as possible.

I mean, yeah. All Bluetooth earphones look dorky. As in right now.

i had the same battery in it for like four years maybe? i can't remember exactly when the 4s was released. bought an ifixit kit to swap it out a couple weeks ago and didn't really notice much of a difference tbh.

i think any version of iOS past like, 7 just obliterates my battery haha.

I was reading some rumors about the iPhone 7 and some of the things we can expect and I have question on the battery. Here is a quick portion of the write-up:

"An image of the battery said to be for the iPhone 7 has surfaced, listing a capacity of 7.04 watt-hours. That's slightly larger than the equivalent battery capacity listed for the iPhone 6s (6.61 watt-hours) and almost identical to the iPhone 6 (7.01 watt-hours). Voltage is not visible on the alleged iPhone 7 battery, so the exact charge capacity is not yet available, but should be similar to the iPhone 6 battery."

My question, does the 6 have better battery life than 6S, or does the 6S just operate more efficiently on less?

Truth be told, they probably have similar battery life in real world use. If one is going to be better than the other though, it would be the 6s. It has a newer, more efficient chip.

So what does the watt hours actually mean?

  24. cryates

    Trusted Prestigious

@Michael Schmidt Watt-hour is a unit of energy measure. It's only used in electronics and isn't a standard. It's really just an indicator of the battery size in this case.

It's always pissed me off that the emoji's are so small in messaging on iOS. You think they'd make them bigger after all these years.
