Good song

 

God centuries is terrible

 

I'm sure it is. Too lazy to Google lol. I'd def rather listen to Centuries on repeat than that song. I actually don't have a problem with Centuries tho so that doesn't mean much coming from me.

 

I like to listen to it and pretend like I'm a gladiator chilling with Joaquin Phoenix or something

 

yeah that's one of the best songs on their best album

 

Centuries isn't great but I think they have a number of worse songs.

 

i'd rather listen to Centuries than most of Evening Out with Your Girlfriend!

 

I like the version of Calm Before The Storm more from Evening Out. I think it's fun!

 

Save Rock and Roll is FOBs last good album imo

TTTYG came on the other day and it was almost unbearable. Did not age well for me. Couldn't even enjoy from a nostalgic perspective.

 

Patrick at least sounds good in the former

also the lyrics are just really corny while EOWYG has stuff like "Last night I saw my world explode yahh (x30)"

Much like the whole genre in that time period. I'm so glad most bands moved on from that.

 

TTYG is lyrically cringey and musically repetitive, really boring looking back

You guys think the later fob sound is going to age better than their first three records?

I think their new music is more of a product of their generation than tttyg or futct.

 

I actually think Infinity on High and Folie A Deux can age well. IOH (which is 10 years old???????) doesn't sound as dated as FUCT, and Folie a Deux doesn't really feel that reflective of a specific time or place in music
