I thought I read somewhere that was Gerard's plan and then they got talked into Danger Days.

gerard's solo album is better than at least half of MCR's output if not more

 

MCR is a band I never got into but I feel weird about starting now

 

I loved MCR when I was younger (The Black Parade is basically responsible for getting me into music), but I never listen to them anymore. I'll have to revisit their discography one day tho

If that was your first song, then your entire music listening experience since has all been downhill, tbh

 

Fashion Statement is one of the best songs to come from that entire like era of music and music in general tbh! I always found them underrated. They were huge but also often talked about like a joke, cause "emo" and the theatrics and makeup and stuff and the huge young girl fanbase but when I listen back I think they're excellent musicians and their ability to world build with every album was really cool.

 

MCR are in a league of their own

other than that A Wilhelm Scream was the best band mentioned in the last several pages
