I just randomly thought of this. With the rise of Ghost's popularity and a TBA 2017 album/live Abigail DVD by King Diamond, could we potentially see the most successful satanic co-headlining tour ever next year? Obviously Ghost is the bigger draw but I doubt King would open for anyone again after Mayhem Fest. The last time both were in NYC, Ghost sold out the 3,000 capacity Kings Theater while Diamond sold out 2 of 3 nights at the 2100 capacity Playstation Theater. With both of their productions, I think they can do 2 nights at Hammerstein Ballroom with each band trading playing last.

 

Somos announced they are going to take a break.

 

Handguns and Forever Came Calling are no longer on Pure Noise. Don't know what's going on with either of them. Can't remember if there was ever an official statement from anyone involved

 

That's a shame. Hopefully Forever Came Calling can get back on the road next year.

 

I just stalked FCC's Twitter looking for a message saying they're off Pure Noise or something along that line and I found a tweet from December 9th saying "Sorry for delay.. We were writing new music.."

 

Probably their contracts just ended and PN didn't renew them. Didn't Handguns release 3 albums with them?

 

Do we think that The Friday Night Boys, Forever The Sickest Kids, or Envy on The Coast will do anything besides So What?! in March?

 

The Friday Night Boys is just a one time thing according to one of the fliers for the festival I saw.

 

Real Friends will be over in the UK/EU from March 29 to April 16. They already got announced for Spring Fling in Cleveland in April 29th. Maybe a U.S. tour from late April to early June?

 

I hope The 1975's late spring/early summer US tour is announced soon.

 

I think there may be a You, Me, and Everyone We Know / Sleep On It show in Chicago being announced tomorrow morning.

 

I was so pissed that they never played a Chicago farewell show. Not because I think we deserve it, but because the band said they were going to.

That being said I will most certainly be there.

 

I was kind of assuming Handguns were done, they've been way too quiet this year. Brandon was on tour with TWY this fall doing roadie stuff if that means anything.

I know FCC are writing, though. I hope they tour soon, I miss them.

 

River Oaks switched up the setlist a bit last night in Philly. Played Total Bummer cover and a Brand New cover (don't know the song). Also played Toronto.

- A Day to Remember
- the rumored Say Anything/Bayside tour (who knows if this is even true?)

 

Not sure I just know the holiday break for all the agencies is over so a lot more things will be getting done haha

Any updates or leaks on the Chelsea Grin headliner? Oceano just posted about new material in 2017, so maybe them.
