I just remember there always being a consensus that thought Three Cheers was their first album.

I know I'm in the minority of not liking The Black Parade. I've given it a lot of listens, for some reason it just doesn't stick with me.

 

I think because it was their first major release and what most people know them from. Myself included, I heard Three Cheers and backtracked.

 

Danger Days is their best anyway

 

The Black Parade has Mama on it therefore it's the best

 

MCR should've hung it up after The Black Parade.

 

Don't they have an unreleased album just sitting on the shelf?

 

Between Black Parade and Danger Days? They compiled those songs and released them as Conventional Weapons. It's okay, I can see why they started from scratch again.

 

I did absolutely nothing for me. Maybe it was because I just started college and was getting into other types of music. But it just came off to me as a stale fart.

 

It's not finished but they did a lot of work on a final album called The Paper Kingdom.

I mean, from the bands POV they probably wanted to redeem themselves for having their last single being that terrible Teenagers song. But then they messed up by doing that Na Na song as the first single from their follow up. Now I remember why I only liked the first two

 

Teenagers and Na Na Na are great. I'll fight anyone who disagrees.

 

I'm not fighting for MCR, maybe Thrice or SOTY lol. They just come off as joke songs compared to earlier stuff.

 

If you wanna reduce two whole albums to one song from each, that is

 

I made sure to mention they were the singles released, but yeah I get your point.

 

Yeah Teenagers may be one of the weaker songs on TBP, but that album still has the title track, I Don't Love You, Mama, Cancer, Disenchanted, and Famous Last Words so I think people can overlook the short Teenagers

I liked "Bulletproof Heart" and "Sing" a lot but I don't think I listened front to back often
