Don't get Anberlin either

Also, BOATS is my favorite TSL album, which I feel is kind of unpopular??? Idk.

TSL are the best and Direction..... is their weakest release!!!

 

I listened to old Starting Line yesterday and it wasn't good but I liked it bc nostalgia. Knew every word still

 

nostalgia fueled music is still fun to listen to even if it blows

Anberlin is another one of those "fine" bands, I used to listen to them a lot more than I do now

 

Anberlin had maybe 3 songs I sorta liked but I always found them highly annoying

 

Anberlin is my second favorite band. Only a handful of songs I don't really care for in their discography. haha

 

Anberlin is trash, Acceptance is trash

Anberlin vocalist sounds like a musical pee-wee herman

 

I got into Acceptance back when I was more dedicated and would research and listen to all the opening acts at shows to familiarize myself beforehand. I like them but don't listen to them much now. Never got huge into Anberlin but I also don't remember what they sound like so that doesn't help

 

I have a soft spot in my heart for The Starting Line.....but this song makes me cringe and legit gives me second hand embarrassment for Kenny and how corny the lyrics are.

My favorite band in high school was Disturbed. I was so into that hard rock/alt rock stuff, like System Of A Down, Linkin Park, Papa Roach, Breaking Benjamin, Trapt, Three Days Grace, Skillet, Red.

Then I got into Saosin and soon after Circa Survive and Thrice. Thank god for that.

 

I ripped off TSL's "Leaving" in my grade school pop-punk band and let me tell you, the tweens ate it up

 

omg i forgot about linkin park i wanted to fuck chester so bad back in the day

 

Are You Alone by TSL is great great great

His arms look like ugly car decals and back then we all still thought they were the greatest idea on earth

 

Love TSL. One of, if not my all time, faves and BOATS is my favorite record by them. Related and sort of unpopular, I also loved Person L and I really like Vacationer a lot.

I love the Acceptance record but can totally understand why many in here see it as overhyped. Jason Vena just has a really great voice and I love his melodies on that album, among other things but yeah I think that's what made them.

Northstar talk kinda got blown over but Polyanna is such a fucking awesome record and now I'm gonna listen to it today
