Simcity is supposed to be pretty bad, but for 5 bucks it can't hurt. Especially since most of my attention towards it was its shaky launch and always-online stuff, they may have fixed it with patches.

 

Yeah they enabled offline play a year later (reminds me of how it took a year for BF4 to be stable lol..)

i'm really excited i just bought a nvidia gtx 1050 along with some hardware upgrades. the rig isn't anything brag about but i've been really wanting a ps4 but this will at least let me play next-gen games for half the price of a console.

 

Anyone got suggestions on a 4K for my bedroom? Currently have a 1080 Samsung 40" from probably 5 or so years ago, looking probably in the 43 inch range. Im looking at one at best buy right now for 399 by LG but didn't know if there was any better deals out there now. Also, anyone that had a xbone 1 switch to an S and with a 4K TV let me know how big of a difference they noticed in gaming or is there much?

 

Some NFS games are great, and some are terrible. The ones I've thoroughly enjoyed are Hot Pursuit 2, Underground 1 & 2, Most Wanted, Carbon, Shift, Hot Pursuit (reboot), The Run, and then I actually played the NFS reboot on the PS4 this weekend at my bro in law's and thought it looked extremely sleek and fun. Though I don't know how good the actual game is.

 

For me, knowing that I plan to get the PS4 pro in January was a deciding factor for my tv this month. I originally got the 4K Philips 55' that was $298 on Black Friday. Though I realized after hooking it up and using it that wasnt up to quality standards I saw on others displayed. I brought it back and went with the UHD HDR Vizio M Series 55' that was a hell of a steal at $622. It was open boxed at Best Buy, and the reason for returning was an older couple didn't like that the remote was a tablet/app based. But anyways, even at the normal price of $699 for the 50', it has one of the smallest input lags for HDR gaming available, and the picture quality for 4K streaming is phenomenal to me. The only tv's I felt beat the quality were the Samsung curves and Sony OLED's, and those are VERY pretty pennies currently.

just finished Witcher 3 and goddamn what a ride.

major spoilers: I also just googled "witcher 3 ending" (hoping to read some dope think pieces or something) and found out there are apparently like 36 different endings? I had no idea, and after reading through all of them it seems like I got the best possible one (Ciri lives as a witcher, Temeria is prosperous, Geralt lives happily ever after with Yen), so now I'm super excited, because it's not like I was aiming for the best ending, just worked out that way.

 

i got the worst ending possible when i played then went back to a previous save and got a better but not best one and was content

 

the witcher 3 is the best video game of this generation so far

...but i still haven't played blood and wine

 

me neither maybe ill spend my psn 20 dollar card on that

 

This guys persona and voice make me cringe but his points are normally good.

 

Blood and Wine is very good definitely carve out some time for it if possible

I would love an actual sequel to Knights of the Old Republic II. The Old Republic MMO did nothing for me.
