Did Rob Liefeld's family really get him some Deadpool stuff for Christmas? lol. Wow.

 

Merry Christmas everyone! While I did not get comics, I did get WW and Batman mugs. Plus money is always good to buy comics with haha.

 

Merry Christmas and happy holidays. Didn't ask for much in the way of comics this year (have most trades i want right now), but my sister did get me Mockingbird vol 1, so I'm excited to sit down and read that.

 

Crossed Vol 1 was incredible. I love Jacen Burrows art.

My brother got me the Batgirl from that lame Miller/Lee All-Star Batman & Robin comic, which is cool 'cause it's still a cool Batgirl design. I love me some Batgirl...

 

My daughter got a Batgirl toy in a McDonalds happy meal not too long ago that actually looks pretty cool. DC Superhero Girls FTW haha.

DC Superhero Girls really is wonderful. Everything about it makes me so happy.

 

Apparently Target has a decent comic book selection online and there's free shipping until the 1st. Sooo I'll likely be snagging Green Lantern: Rebirth and the Flash by Morrison/Millar from there with the gift card I got today.

 

Followed up my Target order by snagging a used copy of Infinite Crisis on Amazon since I had about $9 to spend.

 

I picked up Lost at Sea, Legend of Wonder Woman, The True Amazon, and Dark Night. Hardcovers always get priority on my stack, so hopefully I get through them pretty quick.

 

B&N gift card got me Batman TAS Volume 1 on DVD, Batman City of Owls (LOVED Court of Owls), Kingdom Come (heard good things), and Dixon's Birds of Prey Volume 1 (on a whim). That buy 2 trades get 1 free promo is too good.

 

I'm always talking about how much I love Kingdom Come and how it's a top 5 DC comic of mine, but honestly, I haven't read it since high school. I've gotta reread it in these coming months.

 

Read Gotham City Sirens Book One today and really enjoyed it. Started Suicide Squad Vol. 1 by Ostrander tonight, too. Only one issue in, but I think I'll be enjoying that, as well.

 

I loved Ross's art on Marvels, so I'm looking forward to Kingdom Come for the beauty of it if nothing else...heard it's a great story too though.

 

Ross has the best Instagram. His stuff blows my mind every time I see it.

 

I just followed him; didn't know he did Beatles, Star Wars, etc. thanks!

 

I just picked up Kingdom Come as well. Haven't read it yet but the art is mind blowing.

 

Read Spidey Vol 1 and that was pretty great! Loved the art for the first 3 issues.

 

Forgot about this, saw it in my Facebook "On This Day." From Avengers Arena. I still want to use the name "Shark Steak Dance Party" for something someday.

 

I loved this series, outside of the ending.

 

I don't even remember the ending, but I remember the series having some great moments. Still need to finish Avengers Underground.

 

I got a lot of books for Christmas that I'm very excited to read.

Secret Wars (2015) that I've been dying to read.

Ultimate Spiderman Vol. 12

All New All Different Avengers Vol 2. Which I'm super excited to read because I really loved the first volume.

Scott Pilgrim Vol. 3

My "to be read" pile is about two feet tall.

 

Read through Waid, Morrison, and Johns' first Flash trades today. Geoff's is far and away my favorite of the bunch. Then again, I'm not a huge fan of 90's runs. Morrison's had some good bits.
