That's surprising. It seemed like there was a lot of bad blood between them.

  2. It was awhile ago. You gotta grow and forgive.

I need to get to these Christmas shows before I'm too old.

Woah. Always assumed there was major bad blood with Ratboy based on hearing Jordan and Andy talk about him after he left. Cool to hear they've cleared that up. Him leaving was the best thing that ever happened to this band though.

Listened to Hot Damn! today all the way through for the first time in a while. It still levels me how good it is.

A remastered version would be ideal. The album slays, Idk how people don't think it's their best/one of.

I mean, I love Hot Damn! but I think The Big Dirty and From Parts Unknown are undoubtedly better.

Low Teens is probably my second favorite at this point. Hot Damn is number 1. After that idk

  12. They're having a 10 year anniversary screening of Shit Happens this Friday in buffalo. I would LOVE to go to that.

From Parts Unknown is equal with Hot Damn! in my book. HD! wins by seniority.

From Parts Unknown is definitely number one for me, with pretty much all there other albums in a very close 2nd. If I were to pick one song that perfectly describes the band it would probably be "Decayin With The Boys".

I truly remember my first play through of it, and just thinking Andy had been riffing these songs for a while. Easily the most intense and direct album by the band. Whoever helped them produced must've just said to Keith "You're gonna just fucking scream this whole album."

And that's why it's the best. It's unrelenting.

Seems to be an unpopular choice but The Big Dirty is my number one. I love the southern twang element placed throughout the album. Perfect blend of it displayed from start to end.

It's really hard to knock ETID who have really been a pretty consistent band. I more so think to judge them on single songs rather than albums as a whole, because every single album has songs I love. The Big Dirty is the favorite among many of my friends, I just like when Keith is angrier and when Andy is shredding and playing fast, difficult parts. Favorites for me on that album are No Son Of Mine, We'rewolf, Cities & Years, and INRIhab. Everything else on that album I mostly never revisit.

Yeah the greatness of them is that we all agree all the albums rule hard. Its just a matter of personal preference after that to what your prefer most and no one is going to staunchly disagree with you

I know this is a super unpopular opinion but FPU is on the lower end of ETID for me

TBD on the other hand is very underrated

I can't knock any album of theirs really, I really love all of their albums. Low Teens and Hot Damn are my top 2 prob

Gutter and FPU are top tier for me. With HD! And TBD coming in close second. Low teens is probably up next.

The only albums that aren't top tier ETID for me are Last Night in Town and Gutter Phenomenon, the latter purely because of production, not songwriting. Everything else I just love. Big Dirty might be my favorite though.

For me IMO : favourite - hot damn, best - New Junk, heaviest - From Parts Unknown. Everything is fucking great. Low teens is amazing. Just the best band.
