the earth is not a cold dead place.

I've been curious about whether 'more sane' Republicans would follow the Vote to Stop Trump proposal from the establishment. Sure seems like it's at least playing a factor.

Side note, I've come to the conclusion that a Cruz presidency would probably be worse than a Trump one. Which is both amazing and terrifying to think about.

One of her staffers linked to Panama Papers stuff, if that US list gets out soon she is going to look way more corrupt.

New mural that went up in Richmond recently. Skanking Bernie. It's a Circle Jerks rip.

A Republican representative from Wisconsin just pointed to voter ID as a predictor of the eventual GOP nominee's success.

    Fuck this state.

If you aren't from the UK you might not get this but the latest party election broadcast from the Greens is spot on.

@secretsociety92 haha, that video was pretty funny. I still wouldn't want to vote Green though, some of their proposed policies just seem insane to me, and I consider myself to be fairly left-wing. I've seen interviews with Natalie Bennett where she literally can't explain them. I find Jeremy Corbyn more appealing but sadly his party isn't behind him...

If Trump ends up being the nominee, the electoral map is going to be so interesting.

Completely possible that he flips Michigan and another state or two red, while states like Georgia and NC possibly flip blue.

That Washington Times article has a point, but I would take into consideration that it is more right-wing and conservative than the Post.

trump bumps his head harder in the upper midwest than he does about anywhere, i dont think he has any chance in michigan. i dont think he can feasibly flip any state outside of potentially florida. won't make a difference though.

Ha, that is spot on! Man, UK politics is so depressing at the moment.

Side note: I found this old quote from David Foster Wallace that I really liked.

“If you are bored and disgusted by politics and don't bother to vote, you are in effect voting for the entrenched Establishments of the two major parties, who please rest assured are not dumb, and who are keenly aware that it is in their interests to keep you disgusted and bored and cynical and to give you every possible reason to stay at home doing one-hitters and watching MTV on primary day. By all means stay home if you want, but don't bullshit yourself that you're not voting. In reality, there is no such thing as not voting: you either vote by voting, or you vote by staying home and tacitly doubling the value of some Diehard's vote.”

Generally, they're pretty accurate within the range of the results in past elections , but this election is so whacked out, I'm not surprised they're wrong.

    That's not true.

Wasn't it predicted that dickheads would dominate the election cycle?
