Not too interested in the X1 GWG for January but definitely looking forward to The Cave and Rayman.

Own The Cave on PS3 but only did 1 playthrough, looking forward to playing multiple playthrough

 

The Last Guardian: Just like that, my two week exploration through Ueda's masterful trilogy is over. TLG is not a perfect game. I sometimes had to fight with the camera and the controls were occasionally frustrating. However, it was all worth it to experience Trico. Such an alive, dynamic, adorable, wonderful character, filled with personality and I grew attached to Trico like few other characters in a video game. That's not even to say how much I loved that incredible ending, just...



Fantastic.

 

Will have to check it out in a couple of months. I still need to play uncharted 4 and I just got it. Kind of want to play 1-3 again first.

 

oh shit, walking dead season 3 started yesterday. can't wait to start that.

 

i'm almost done replaying soc and playing ico for the first time. can't wait to get a ps4 specifically for last guardian. in the meantime, my gf gave me a desktop that her work gave to her, so i'm turning it into a gaming pc. gonna play skyrim and dark souls for the first time.

 

Grabbed FFXV yesterday from Amazon, because I've been itching to play my Pro after I finished up The Last Guardian last weekend.

First Final Fantasy game, and I've been a gamer for my entire life.

 

same with me and FF. It was my first but other games in my life(SMITE FOREVER) kept pulling me back so I stopped playing it completely.

 

FFXV is so much fun and is also my first FF

 

For all you playing a FF game for the first time, remember to grind more than you think you need to.

Good lord. Youve missed out. Try to play X (remaster is on PS4 I believe) and compare the two. Will be tough to go back to a lesser game graphically but if you value story and character development X blows XV away. I will say that I've played FFXV for 45 hours and never felt bored so that's pretty impressive. It is just missing the story element.

 

Will also say that X doesn't feel like such a massive step back graphically that it detracts from the experience, it can definitely still feel very similarly to how it felt back when it first came out.

 

Play 6, the last good Final Fantasy game.

I want a new PGA Tour game. They must be working on one since they haven't updated the last one since May.

 

After buying it like 2 or 3 months ago and putting it down after what was imo a pretty slow start, Shin Megami Tensei IV has finally clicked with me in the way other Atlas games have. Might move on to Devil Survivor Overclocked after this.

 

With nothing new on the immediate horizon (at least for the next month), it's time to dig back into my backlog. First order of business: restarting Yakuza 5 and getting that done before Zero.

 

If only someone had told me that when I started...

 

Yeah I was gonna save this for my FFXV review once I finish it but FFX was AMAZING graphics wise for its time. Same with XIII

 

Got it free from EA Access and after about an hour of playing it I think I'm done. Generic and boring gameplay. I don't have a ton of time to play video games so if a game feels like it's not worth the time then I give up on it quickly.
