can someone explain to me why Gravity Rush remaster is 24$ on American amazon, but 79$ in Canada??

The North American physical version is exclusive to US Amazon, for some reason Canadian Amazon wasn't included. You're probably seeing shitty third party sellers that are jacking the price up just because they can.

awhhhh yes it is a third party seller, makes sense then. I was really hoping for a physical release of this but guess im going with the digital download :(

Jade Raymond, who created Assassin's Creed, left Ubisoft and started a studio with EA, they're apparently doing the single player campaign for Battlefront 2

I think they're making a different Star Wars game

They're working on Battlefront and Visceral's new Star Wars game by Amy Hennig. I think they're just starting out by helping those two before making their own.

Really hope Crytek gets their shit together. The fact they had that many studios is ridiculous.

Best of luck for the many many that are effected.

Finished FFXV last week and i have many many thoughts on that game, some are below for those interested.

Most of my feelings are critical because while playing it I saw clearly the potential the narrative and game had couldn't achieve. It felt like many parts were made and designed in a vacuum, only to be stitched together at the end in ways that didn't quite end up making sense. I hate that the narrative is tied up in tangential media and that a lot of major plot points happen behind the scenes with little or no insight given in-game. Any characters outside of Noctis, Prompto, Ignis or Gladio were barely developed and thus, made it difficult for me to care about them even though I desperately wanted to.

All that said, I do really appreciate that a NG+ is being added shortly and that there seems to be a fair amount of end game content. The photography and cooking mechanics are SO ENJOYABLE and I'm amazed at how they made it fit so well into the game. Open world games usually aren't for me but this is one that I felt didn't waste my time and I'll praise this game for that reason all day long. I'll probably give this a spin in a year when they're done editing the story or whatever.

Anyway, I booted up FFX on my vita and I'm having a blast with that again. And here's a link to PSN Week 3 Holiday Sale!

AC reviews are starting to come out... looking not good.

Crytek today outlined a series of changes to its future business plans that will see the company refocus on its core strengths of developing innovative games and game-development technology.

As part of the changes, Crytek will concentrate on development in its Frankfurt and Kiev studios and continue to develop and work on premium IPs. CRYENGINE will remain a core pillar of Crytek’s overall strategy, with enterprise licensees and indie developers alike continuing to be served by regular engine updates. All other development studios will not remain within Crytek and management has put plans into action to secure jobs and to ensure a smooth transition and stable future.

Crytek Co-Founder and Managing Director, Avni Yerli, said: “Undergoing such transitions is far from easy, and we’d like to sincerely thank each and every staff member – past and present – for their hard work and commitment to Crytek. These changes are part of the essential steps we are taking to ensure Crytek is a healthy and sustainable business moving forward that can continue to attract and nurture our industry’s top talent. The reasons for this have been communicated internally along the way. Our focus now lies entirely on the core strengths that have always defined Crytek – world-class developers, state-of-the-art technology and innovative game development, and we believe that going through this challenging process will make us a more agile, viable, and attractive studio, primed for future success.”

Sounds like they will be shutting down 5 teams.

If they had released Robinson on regular consoles AND VR, I think it could have helped them a fair bit. VR-exclusive makes no sense...

Really hope they get their shit together, or get bought up by MS/Sony.
