10am is the best time for this I feel. No sold out nonsense, and hopefully no line.

Holla, just got an email from my IMAX theatre stating they'll be showing the prologue for "Dunkirk" film before Rogue One starts, the only theatre in the state showing it! #winning

Of course there's a line at the port authority.

First in line! 65 minutes to go.

I got here at this time last year and was third in line. I figured I would be first this year since it's not as big as TFA when it comes to the promotion and hype.

I once got to a Gary Clark Jr show 3 and 1/2 hours ahead of doors, and was still 2nd in line.

Now in the theater! Luckily they didn't schedule a movie to end 20 minutes before the showtime like last year. Last year they scheduled Heart of the Sea (or whatever it was called, Thor Floats?) to end 20 minutes prior and 5 people went so we had to wait and there was a line wrapped all around the inside of the theater. They planned better this year.

Also why do your theaters not let you reserve seats when you book your tickets? That just seems like it would be a pain.

    yeah good okay Prestigious

They started letting people into the actual cinema like three hours early so I'm just sitting here in darkness in a sea of beards

I'm still sitting here just listening to the soundtrack.

  20. The CGI Tarkin and Forrest Whitaker were the worst parts about this movie.

The first hour of this was really awful and boring. The second hour was a lot better but I still have issues. Overall I respect this more than the Force Awakens, because it actually has thematic aim on more than a meta level, but jeez it's kind of a slog.

I think I respect this one more, but I think I enjoyed TFA overall more.

    Am I making any sense?

Just got out of the theater. I loved this despite its flaws. It just feels so good to be a Star Wars fan right now

It felt a lot like reading an EU book back in the day. Name drops and references to past events and such.
