Yeah it's understandable. It just makes me mad (not legit mad, joking mad) when people hate on that Final Fantasy era when there was a perfect FF under a different name right under their noses!

 

Can't remember the last time I played a video game and didn't like it. Probably the last time I played a call of duty but even those games are fun for a week or so of online play

 

I feel like deep down we all already know what the general answer will be

 

I paid full price for those games, and the dlc once already, and i'm the type that only buys 2 or 3 full priced games a year, so I'm gonna wait. Not knocking those who are willing to pay $60, I just have a limited gaming budget.

 

Yeah please no one leave. I don't think anyone really wants that.

 

2008 was Mirrors Edge and GTA IV

 

I play games that I don't love but even those I kind find a lot to like about even if I don't finish them.

 

Most of the time i just get 30 minutes to an hour into a game and stop playing which isn't a fair way to judge if I actually like it or not.

 

Don't forget Fable 2, Fallout 3, and Civilization Revolution. Crippling time sinks were dropping like it was going out of style that year.

I didn't play any games I didn't enjoy but Homefront sure looked like a disaster.

 

I haven't played anything I've disliked this year thankfully, I've enjoyed a lot of games this year.

 

What I was expecting was No Man's Sky haha

Rayman Legends is free in two days as well, I think.

 

I feel like I can usually tell when a games either not going to be for me or is going to be bad so I just avoid it.

 

Oh, I thought I already got it from Ubi30 in August, but that was Rayman Origins. Nice.

May have been mentioned already, but owners of the 360 version of Bastion can get the xbone version for free this month.

Should I respectively replay Watch Dogs, Mafia II, and Dishonored to refresh myself on the stories for their sequels or are the new ones all self-contained?

 

I'm sure someone can fill you in on Watch Dogs...Mafia 3 is self contained with minor story references to Mafia II and the protagonist of II is a character, but they fill you in on what he did. Haven't played Dishonored 2 yet but the two protagonists were from the first game with a large time jump.

 

My boys over at Easy Allies gave their GOTY to The Last Guardian. Classy. I need to finish that game asap.

Is Lost Odyssey the largest game (in terms of file size) that was ever made for the 360? 22 gigs for a game made back then is kinda nuts.

Been downloading the game for 10 hours now, and it's 67% done. Free games are always welcome, but files this large are why I hope physical media never dies.

Edit: The last third downloaded much quicker than the first two thirds. Pretty cool opening. It's been at least a decade since I've played a jrpg with random battles, so that's gonna take some getting used to, but i'm determined to deal with it.
