I've been spending time with this lately and I actually really enjoy it overall

 

i still only really like half of this, but I keep coming back to it. review should be up next week (i've been swamped with finals)

 

I've never been able to get into him. I haven't read any posts in this thread yet. I don't know if people love it or hate it. But I just came here to say I fucking love it.

yeah listened to this again and liked it more once again.

 

Anyone else a bit frustrated with the chorus of Riot? It's just so lazily written and kills the momentum of those fantastic verses, could have been the best song on this album if it hadn't.

 

riot is the worst song on the album tbh

 

He's performing on the Tonight Show tonight

So in like 30 minutes on east coast

 

i dont hate or dislike this album and i'm giving it time but i can't help but feel it's quite contrived in a way.

 

I disagree, definitely Have Some Love takes that cake for me, but Riot is a bunch of wasted potential for sure

Sounded good but seemed so unnatural.

For anyone that didn't see it:

Think it was a great performance but damn does that sound like it strains his vocals. I don't think we'll see him touring the album much/at all, I doubt he'd make it through.

It is interesting to see that his vocals actually weren't pitched up for that song, I thought he sounded great for the most part. Definitely interested in hearing more of these songs live

That was a great performance.

 

Wow. I decided to revisit the album after seeing that amazing performance and the album finally clicked right with me. Definitely some tracks that don't work very well, but there is some really beautiful music on this album.

 

Have you listened to this yet? Haha, I've been waiting to hear your thoughts

 

It's extremely low on my priorities lol but I'll get to it eventually

 

He did great on Fallon, loved that performance.

 

Honestly hated that Fallon performance

 

I don't think he will do a tour for this album, sad to say. It's just going to be festival performances if anything. Dudes busy af with Han Solo and Atlanta.
