When my friends announce that they are getting married, my first thought isn't i'm being left behind. It is I wonder the food is going to be like.

Agreed. My buddy told me he proposed to his girlfriend and I immediately was like "when's the reception/bachelor party?"

Then he went and got married a few weeks after proposing without telling anyone.

whenever i think of weddings atm i worry about my fam & my girls fam coexisting for that moment in time lol.

I want kids one day. My last gf partially dumped me because I was unable to say that I would not regret being with her because she could no longer have kids. She had kids from another marriage and I said I view adoption as special and great due to various personal reasons. So I would view her kids as my own. But she feared when I was old I would regret not actually making a baby. Which is kind of unfair. How can I know how I would feel 30 years down the line? I was honest and said I couldn't possibly promise that I wouldn't regret it. There was another reason, but that was a big part of why we broke up.


I'm recently, sort of, 30. I want to be married, but I don't think I'm ready for that and honestly I'm always single so my readiness is kind of irrelevant at the moment.

 

My brother and I are both struggling financially to compensate for the family in spite of our relationships... THANKFULLY our girls understand but he hit me up for 5$ today just to make it through the day and idk, it made me see him from that angle of "Oh alright, lil bro is manning up now" (Cus i know he hates to swallow that pride) because his girl is homeless atm and he's responsible for driving her to work and etc.
Can't knock that, I gave him the last 10$ I got, he promised me 5$ back and some bud when he got. That's cool I guess I just wanted to help but I'll gladly take that, ha.

 

food, cake and if there's an open bar is the most essential part of every wedding. lets face it.

yeah I know cash bar makes financial success, especially considering I don't drink, but it's such a dick move

 

They'd prob charge you for water or a Coke haha

 

I was thinking more if I was throwing a party it would feel weird spending so much money on something I don't use haha

 

ive never been to a wedding with cash bar. its either its open bar or no alcohol is served at all. i don't deserve the cruelty of having alcohol and then having to pay for it. thats just mad.

I forgot dry weddings were a thing, such a foreign concept for me

 

I'm paying for the cocktail hour at my sister's wedding because she couldn't afford anything but a cash bar and I couldn't deal with how people would view her wedding with a cash bar.

 

I've only been to two weddings in my life and they both were when I was young.

 

I don't drink so I'd also feel like I was wasting money on an open bar but my fam would riot if I didnt. I want a candy bar and a fruit bar tho cause I'd be there all night long!

 

i didnt drink when I was at the few weddings I been too, still only prefer beer when I do drink but I suppose it'd only be right to take advantage of an open bar now.

 

well i live in texas they got some weird ass rules about alcohol. (like you can't buy alcohol until after 12 on sundays wtf is up with that rule. its the worst, not wedding related but still wtf) . the ones that didn't have it because there was some sort regulation at the place they had it.

 

lol in my town theres delis who will sell ya beer but not advertise it cus they dont have a license.

 

My friend is having Boy Problems.mp4 and I got her to listen to a few CRJ songs and she liked them and related but now she's blasting sappy sad songs while I'm clearly trying to watch something and I'm like now sis......
