Morgan and Carol have no idea what happened with Negan though, the last thing they know is that outpost was cleared so they assume the threat is over right? They would have no idea how powerful Negan and his group is.

Glenn was an original like Carol too, so I think his death would have more weight for her, esp the way he died but I agree that her bond with Daryl will probably help too.

Hmm I'd have to rewatch. I'm getting my timeline messed up then...but if they were around for that, and this guy is talking about the saviors like he is, you'd think they'd wonder why, if they thought they took them all out. Like I know Carol was there...

We haven't seen that bond in a long time and I'd like them to revisit it.

we've seen the shadow of the axe before Supporter

Well Carol eventually ended up taking out a bunch more saviors on her own right? And this was even after the raid. So she has to know there are more?

yeah, but remember when there is one left alive Rick asks who Negan is and she says "I'm Negan" and he kills her. I think the group took that as the threat was over. Morgan and Carol have no idea of the events of Negan co. ambushing Rick co. on the way to hilltop and killing Glenn.

When The Kingdom were handing over the pigs to the saviours, I think Richard went to tell him who they were but Morgan cut across him and said 'I know who they are'. So he's aware they're still at large. They'll have no idea about Glenn though.

Ahhh, forgot about that. They have to know Rick and Co. are in danger then, I wonder why they are being so non supportive. Granted, it fits with Morgan and Carol's character not to make the best of choices :-)

Yes, I thought the ending was executed a little cheesily. But the idea of it, them all coming together to the same conclusion made me happy.

This half season was pretty meh but I can see it's heading in a good direction.

Carol just wants to live alone until she dies, or at least she's almost convinced herself of that. I think the pomegranate bowl suggests otherwise.

It was enjoyable to see Negans moments from the comics come to life. This is a tough storyline for TV in my opinion, because it's a time when there really isn't much happening aside from Negan has his foot on everyone's throats.

The whole Negan holding judith bit was bizarre.

I know killing Spencer like he did was super fucked, but the guy knows how to make a point.

If they give us a bottle episode with Daryl and mopey Carol in that quaint little house in the second half, I'm 100% not watching lol.

I don't hate the bottle episodes, but last week's episode proved they can move locations and people in the same ep and it works. Hope they remember that.

Either way, Morgan and or Carol will come around. Alexandria and hilltop don't know about the kingdom yet and they're the link

As much as it makes sense for All Out War to end by Season 8, I guarantee it will carry into Season 8

Yeah with the way this show draws things out, it would not surprise me if it ends during the season 8 finale even though it definitely does not need to.

what was the significance of that guy from the Kingdom having a little breakdown in his hidden RV in the woods? What were the glass bottles he had about? It was him smashing one then falling to his knees and I was just like, what? Is he a comic book character?

I don't know much about the comics but have been told in here some of the Negan story line so my theory is that Season 7 will end with Negan being captured (so the all-out war will happen during second half of Season 7) then we'll go into Season 8 with Negan being imprisoned at Alexandria and then the mid-season finale of Season 8 will be Negan escaping. Just my thoughts.
For those who know the comic story, is there a lot that happens between where we are now and the all out war?

That's how I envisioned it going if they don't decide to stretch it out. The timing you laid out in your post seems to be a no-brainer in terms of what they should do, but you just never know about this show lol.

Season 7 finale will be the 4 camps vs Savior meeting up in an open field. Rick raises his right arm, yells "charge," everyone sprints. Cut to credits

I hate that you are probably right.

Didn't they do close to the same thing with the Governor at the prison gates?

    Ew, David

I'm laughing at the image of Rick putting his arm in the air & yelling "charge" but that's probably what will happen

I have no idea if I'm right, but I thought those were mason jars filled with hooch to be used for molotovs and/or he has a huge drinking problem

edit: also he just totally did not get his way with Morgan and Carol, so that probably made him pissy

Thought: is there going to be a time jump here for the second half of the season? Last ep I kept hearing "long con" and by the end with Rick's group it seemed more like "let's get some guns and get 'er done asap"

I thought it was just water that he was secretly stashing for himself so he doesn't have to give it to the saviours or whatever. Or at least his mini hideout for when things get bad. I'm sure it will make sense in time.
