Oof I've been considering picking up Deus Ex too but that sounds awful..

 

Some of the bits I've heard about the story beyond the stuff lightning linked sounded pretty cheesy and plain ole bad.

Which is a shame I enjoyed Human Revolution (minus bad boss fights) quite a bit.

 

Yeah I loved Human Revolution but I couldn't even finish the new one. It was just so stale and boring.

Human Revolution seemed like it would get boring because every room looked like the same room for a 50+ hour game

Deus Ex was incredible. That Aug life matters stuff is gross but relegated to posters, I never noticed it in game. If you liked HR it has everything that made that game good but better

 

Yeah the missions and world seemed like they might be better than HR

 

Going to say it now, I don't mind the crates as it's only cosmetic stuff. It's no worse than CSGO tbh. Only thing I don't care about are the melee weapons and microtransactions, but as everything can be unlocked by playing (albeit slowly unlocked) its not the end of the world.

Also love that Winter Crash has Christmas music playing on the radios on the map.

Lotta sequels but and not a ton of thought but those are top tier that quickly came to mind.

 

Enjoying the Blizzard Mountain expansion for Forza Horizon 3, a lot better than Storm Island was for Forza Horizon 2 and the snow physics/effects are impressive.

 

I'm waiting for the Valkyrie Viking.

 

Good news everyone.

All three Bioshock games have been added to xbone backward compatibility. I'll eventually buy the remastered games, but not until the collection starts selling for $20 or less.

Stardew Valley kinda scares me. It looks like one of those games that I'll end up sinking way too much time into. Stuff like The Sims, Civilization, Viva Pinata, Theme Park, Etc. has consumed me in the past.

 

I've pretty much decided I'll end up getting a Nintendo Switch.

that's fair if you just don't want to spend a lot of money in general. but as far as remasters go it's completely worth the full price. you're getting 3 games, all dlc, wonderfully remastered, and a 'making of' for the first bioshock.

 

I heard the remasters are getting lot about the graphics wrong, especially for the first two games

 

I played the remasters and thought they looked and played great

 

Horde mode is coming to Uncharted 4 today! Anybody want to play on Friday?
