Oh yeah, I can't wait for Ken Levine's next game for sure.

 

It's understandable but what a shame.

 

I wonder what the Heavy Rain guy is making now. He's like the Nic Cage of gaming. Totally off his marbles lame but tries really really hard. He might eventually make a shot one day

 

Pretty sure he's still working on Detroit.

So it's official, melee weapons and supply drops added to MWR. Fuck Activision, forgot how bad they are as a company.

The only slight positive is that you can unlock everything without having to buy money for supply drops. But fuck this game is no longer a remaster of one of the greatest FPS games made.

 

Detroit could be cool

 

David Cage's writing is always lame and up it's own ass. That said I liked Heavy Rain and Beyond was okay. Will probably play Detroit because it has androids.

Not even surprised that MWR is getting microtransactions.

 

My concern about Detroit is that it won't live up to the lofty promises the trailers have shown. Like if they can pull off having that many variables going into a bit, awesome. If not, Cage is the new Peter Molyneux.

 

Well maybe we should just treat it as something to tide us over until cdpr Cyberpunk

except for we already have Deus Ex for that

 

Speaking of that new Deux Ex, might get it for 35 on PSN.

 

I actually had the playstation motion controllers and played through Heavy Rain 3 different times. It was also the only game I ever used them for. Was quite a bit of fun, but I can't remember where I put the controllers.


Also, Idk how much it was discussed before I joined the thread, but Friday The 13th: The Game looks great. Just saw today they added Tommy Jarvis too. Considering pre-ordering that.

 

Wasn't that supposed to of come out already?

 

It's been in development for a while, but it seems that way because it was announced as a kickstarter campaign and they've been releasing tidbits for a year, unlike most games who don't need to advertise to raise money and get released. They met the goals, and it will be out in the spring.

 

It got delayed until early 2017. They're adding single player. I really hope the game actually ends up being fun because on paper it seems awesome.

 

Wasn't the new Deus Ex getting mixed reviews? I didn't hear too much good about it from the people I generally listen to.

 

Ah I see, I didn't know that. Cool they're taking time to make it good though

 

Without looking again I thought it had a 70 or 80 meta and fans recieved it better than the last two
