The arcade mode that got added is a nice touch and definitely gives the game more life beyond an initial playthrough.

 

This is the first I've heard about it, although admittedly I don't follow any video game news websites or anything. Link?

I wonder if I can return the piece of shit game when they do that. That is not what was advertised and I didn't want IW to begin with.

 

Given Activisions track record and these pieces of info is pretty damning:

New Melee Weapons reportedly coming to MWR, alongside weapon kits and additional reticles | Charlie INTEL

Only new games I've played are overwatch and legion. But I'm getting ffxv and wd2 soon and whatever money I get will go toward steep and doom

 

Wonder if Best Buy will let me return it without a receipt if I tell them about this bullshit. Probably about a 5% chance if I moan and groan about it enough.

 

I really do wonder what the sales would have looked like without the modern warfare remaster.

I can't it making a huge dip but it still be interesting if we could see regular edition only sales.

 

There are roughly 3 million people on the PS4 leaderboard of MWR, so probably at least 5 million sales lost without it.

 

Oh it would have been in the toilet for sure, no way it could have competed with Overwatch, BF1, or Titanfall 2 without MWR.

 

Crossing my fingers that so many people complain and want their money back that they leave the fucking game alone.

 

Honestly just going back and it's crazy that Funhaus and @lightning13 were a huge reason how I got hyped for the Overwatch. I was never really keen on it before they helped me get hype.

I know I've had some complains before about heroes and loot boxes but they've generally seem to be constantly communicating with the community and fixing things. The addition of arcade mode and one hero casual has been great for me.

It also helps that the cast is so colorful and I've fallen in love with every single heroes except mei because screw her. Im just really excited for the future of the game.

That's it. That's the only new game I've played. I'm so far behind because I can't afford to buy games as they come out. Also, I take my time and typically like playing games that take a long time, so.

The ones at 9th all have their own strengths and weaknesses, I just made the mistake of juggling them all at once and got burnt out on CCGs in general.

I actually never finished the ones at 10th, Castle of Illusion because I got stuck, GoT because I got bored, and Prototype and The Witcher because I got frustrated.

"WHY IS FFXIII SO LOW ON THAT LIST?!?!" ahh I'm sorry I'm sorry please don't hate me @lightning13 I haven't even finished it yet. My main/only gripe with the game so far is that the open-world portion (which I'm actually really enjoying right now) is so far into the game rather than interspersed throughout like it was in FFVII and FFVIII, the only other two I've played.

So yeah, the games I played this year go as far back as 2007, somehow missing out on 2011.

Also you have way more patience than I do about purchasing games and completing them.

 

honestly though, i guess i'm just confused about ubisoft being singled out when i think they're the best triple A company in regards to inclusion/diversity representation. they've made a lot of effort where others rarely have or haven't. i'd like to see this much talk about rockstar, lol

 

I didn't know I convinced you that much. I'm glad! This is also good because we're a very good team. The other day was fun.

 

Yeah, I'm hoping to buy Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Batman: Arkham Knight, and GTAV sometime next year, maybe during the Steam autumn sale haha...

Oh btw I just realized, Ubi's free game this month is AC3. I got a hard copy of AC1-2 from my bro a while ago and never opened it. Should probably get to those at some point, heh...

 

yup. Funhaus made me go ohhhh about the game and you made me go into full purchase mode.

Activision blows but Blizzard is good, too bad they're constantly being bogged down by activision

 

Platformers are the besttt.

Rayman Legends is a 10/10.

 

Sands of Time is a 10/10.

Bring back Prince of Persia!!
