dang more people should play wd2. you can skip wd1 if you want to, wd2 is literally 10x better. i played a couple of online co op missions last night with a random. i enjoyed it so much, even tho i did all the work. i have a lot of the key research skills for hacking and the gadgets, so it helps lol

 

I want to play it but I'll have to wait for a sale, I gave Ubisoft day one money for Steep instead haha

 

I really love the actor for Wei Shen. He's great.

but also I can't tell if I suck at driving or it's just really bad in this game.

 

Ugh I really hope the rumours of Raven/Activision adding melee weapons and supply drops to Modern Warfare Remastered aren't true. Really been enjoying the game, such a good remaster of a classic and some of the most fun I've had on an FPS. Wouldn't put it past Activision to completely ruin something though.

 

Damn so many people putting Doom in their top 10 list. May have to pick up either that or Battlefield 1 after the holidays.

 

Game is rather incredible. Animation and design of Trico is incredibly impressive.

Technical gripes are mostly nonexistent for me, considering I played through on the Pro. Camera is wonky in places. This guy's video is highlighting that he wasn't directing Trico correctly. Gotta be in his line of sight to direct him, but sometimes, especially early on, even if you're directing him, he literally might not like you enough to listen. It's an evolving relationship. Not a game to be impatient with.

No matter how frustrated I got in spots, I was immersed and loving it the payoff of figuring out the interaction.

 

I totally would if I had stable internet these days lol. I haven't been able to play in months because I was getting disconnected every other game. :/

He's got a great beginners playlist that will teach the basics, or another good way is to pick a hero you're interested in and watch one of his replays for that hero.

 

I'm done with Shadow of the Colossus. What a game.

Now my package with TLG better hurry the fuck up and get here sooner than Wednesday because I am so incredibly excited to see what that game has in store for me. As I believe I've said before regarding these games, I'm kicking myself for never playing/finishing Ico and SotC, despite owning both for years.

 

tomorrow is going to suck because:

Overwatch Christmas update comes out.

Smite final patch of the season comes to consoles.

Stardew Valley comes to consoles.

I don't have all the time to play all three.

 

That's tomorrow?! Yesssss

 

Tomorrow for me is Overwatch, Destiny and Hitman Christmas updates.

...maybe it IS a good thing TLG won't get here for me for a couple days.

I lost interest in Watch Dogs 2. Initially I thought it was a huge improvement over the original but I just stopped playing it about a week after release. I went back to it a few days ago and realised I had no desire to continue. Sure, the hacking is greatly improved, but the story isn't engaging at all, Marcus is likeable but uninteresting and I've seen much better open world cities in other games like Grand Theft Auto V. Looks like I'm not the only one who feels this way either:

Edit: Also, the driving isn't thaaat different from the original. It's better but it still sucks

 

I still think WD2 looks dope and maybe I'll pick it up around Christmas if I can find a deal.

In the meantime though, finally picked up FFXV yesterday and am about 6 hours in and loooooooving it

 

I'm not interested in Watch Dogs 2 because literally nothing about that game or the original looks like a good fit for me. I don't really like open world games, I don't like the style or aesthetic of it at all, I don't find hacking very interesting or really want to do it in a game and I haven't ever liked any demo/trailer for either game. I'm glad the people who were looking forward to it seemed to enjoy it though.

 

It's not just the hacking that's better - the missions are better, the side missions have narratives, there's more hacking puzzles and challenges in the missions, the driving is improved, the graphics are better, all of the characters are more likable, not just Marcus, and it's not as overwhelming or repetitive as WD1. And what I personally think is lazy is to compare every game like this to GTA V.

 

So I guess if you played overwatch you would never be Sombra

 

And of course, Sombra is my main.

 

I thought Mercy was your main.
