FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

I'd personally go with Roller Coaster as number 8 but that works pretty well actually lol.

Not bad. The only thing I'd do differently would be:

    6. The Rock Show
    7. Adam's Song
    9. Reckless Abandon
    10. Everytime I Look For You
    12. Wasting Time
    14. Even If She Falls

It was really funny last night how the radio station kept pushing the band as being local when I feel that it's clear that they prefer LA at this point

They killed it at the LA show on Saturday. Impressed with Mark's vocals this time around, especially on SOOHM.

Also I couldnt believe the reception they got at the show. During M83, AFI, JEW and Kings of Leon I was looking around and noticing how everyone sat in their seats, and at least my part of the floor was standing absolutely still. Then Blink came on and everyone was standing and a huge pit opened up in front of me haha.

    Sleekest of beaks. So Good.

Mark said there aiming for February for the deluxe edition of California could drop Sober as a single aroudn then and ride it into the summer tour.

That upset me from the videos I saw. The crowd SUCKED for all of those bands. I would have been going nuts for that lineup. KOL is my second favorite band and the other bands are definitely some of the top ones I listen to. Solid routing.

I'll just be so disappointed if it's 'Home'. That song doesn't appeal to me, at all really.

To be fair, KOL are also one of my favorite bands and I thought they were pretty bad (it was my 4th time seeing them). I'm not a fan of the new album and they played way too much of it. They didnt play anything off of Because of the Times. From the first two albums they only played Mollys Chamber and The Bucket, but something just seemed off about them. Like they seemed slightly slowed down and definitely not as hard hitting as they should be.

Oh that sucks. They shouldn't be playing any new stuff. Festival type shows like that should be left with the singles. A proper "WALLS" tour is where you drop in the majority of new songs.

I agree though, that new album is one of my lesser favorites and has no lasting value. Can't imagine a crowd getting too into it. Still really want to meet that band one day.

how is Matt going to be able to do shit with Alkaline Trio?

  11. Alkaline Trio will just have to be active every other year or something. I don't know.

Or maybe Tom will come back. :-)

Do we know what the sales to date have been for California? Curious if its close to going gold yet, or if it surpassed Neighborhood's sales (most likely yes).

It's nuts to me that even The Mark, Tom, and Travis Show went platinum.

I think I'm the only person who does not like Sober. I always skip it....

California has sold around 320k to date (in the US). Don't know the figures with streaming included, but I guess with those it should round 400k.

    Neighborhoods
had sold 353k as of May 2016...

I really want another Alkaline Trio album before we get another Blink album tbh, I'm satisfied with California for a while

  18. I just want the next Blink album to be more rock and less pop. And get the music breathe more. There's vocals going constantly it seems like, on California.

I don't get why they didn't use any riffs on this album considering they were a huge part of blink in their prime and this was supposed to be a throwback album

Yup, there aren't any memorable riffs on this album which is surprising.

I agree. Plus we are getting the Deluxe Version of California with more songs.

Did anyone else think blink was going to be just Mark on lead vocals when Matt came in? Like +44.

I'm glad it wasn't that way.

i never thought it would have been mark lead the whole time, but i wouldn't have been surprised if it was mostly lead but sometimes matt took lead, I'm glad it's pretty even because the dual vocals is such a big part of blink

    Me too.

I also thought Mark would sing tom's songs.
