my dog licks my face a few times, then sits down and stares at me until i wake up. if it doesn't work, he repeats this process. at least he's polite about it.

 

Border Collies probably aren't the most agreeable to being dressed up but damn they're cute. Dressed my dog up a couple years ago for halloween.

I just co-inherited a dog from a very sick housemate. In incredibly tough times he is such an asset to the household. Could not encourage you to get one enough if you have the facilities :)

Yeah I grew up with cats, but since I left home for college back in 2012 I haven't had the chance to have any pets again. Should be able to get one in the next few years though once I get all the life shit sorted out.

Thanks, she's great! They're highly engaging dogs, just due to the fact that they're so smart. Their herding instinct is a lot of fun to witness too. They're perfect dogs for people who like doing a lot of things with their pets -- they have a lot of energy and probably view it as working, which is what border collies love to do.

 

Yeah same! My family were always cat people and while I liked dogs, always felt owning one would bring slobber, destruction and smell to my life in unbearable levels.
My housemate now staying in hospice care, got a staffy 3 years ago and I honestly now could not imagine my life without him. Its bizarre but amazing what animals can bring to us silly humans.

I don't like using songs as alarms because I eventually grow bored of them, this would make sense though

My alarm is a standard one because after a year of having my alarm be "The Reckless and The Brave" by All Time Low back in 2012, I have grown to not like the song anymore. Don't wanna ruin songs with my morning grumpiness again.

 

My ex co-worker has the cutest dog. It's a miniature australian shepherd.

My alarm used to be Thursday's Resuscitation of a Dead Man, which I completely forgot about until the song came on a few weeks ago and I was like... why do I have the feeling I've heard this part repeat over and over and over and over

 

The Space Jam theme would be a good alarm
