I haven't played much this year either. I want to grab Titanfall 2, FFXV for kicks and giggles, and I have The Last Guardian coming in today.

Shit, forgot Mother Russia Bleeds came out on PS4...

Sigh....will have to give this a go

 

I need to play Tokyo Mirage Sessions

and I don't really care about Amiibos but I'd buy the fuck out of that Box Boy amiibo.

 

Pretty sure Crash Bandicoot takes it for me this year.

 

I'm just curious why you aren't enjoying it. The story hasn't grabbed me NEARLY as much as other final fantasy games but I still want to keep playing it any free minute that I have. Maybe it is because this is my first modern open world game and the side quests and stuff don't feel repetitive and dull just yet (I'm 16 hours in and can see that happening here relatively soon).

 

Just done the Titan (Archean) bit on Final Fantasy XV, have to say I was impressed. Really enjoying the game overall and I know this is from someone who has never touched the series before but it is on the whole impressing.

 

Took a break from Battlefield 1 to dab into Firewatch; fantastic game. Great art direction, script and voice acting, music, etc.

 

I've had Stand By Me stuck in my head since starting ffxv the other day

 

This is a weird desire/request but I really want the .hack// video game series to be remade for PS4 except better

By far the best thing I've seen in the game so far (I'm just past this point and at 16 hours in)

 

The scale was impressive along with how tense it was plus the design on the Titan was really solid, wish I was given more time to take it all in.

.hack and .hack//GU were so damn fun

 

I feel like the combat is very poorly dated now but god it could be made into something SO amazing now, it was a wonderful series and in 2016 could be phenomenal

 

Give me a .hack with the FFXV combat engine, it would be so fun. I have so many fond memories of those games.

I really dont understand the strategy or have the patience for it. I lost the first match real bad.

 

This is the fullest my backlog for gaming has ever been. Still have Bioshock collection (never played a Bioshock game), Doom and Mafia 3 wrapped in plastic. I still need to finish The Witness (or try to), AC Syndicate, Hitman, Batman and Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. All while still playing BF1, NHL 17, Rocket League and Battlefront and wanting to revisit TLOU and the Uncharted series. I love video games.

 

ha, I get sucked into side games like that more than the actual games half the time. probably spent as much time playing blitzball as I spent actually completing the story in FFX.

my backlog is like 40 games deep at any given time so I try not to think about it too much.

 

Making my way through the Ezio collection and I've got waiting for me:

Bloodborne
FFXV
Just Cause 3
The Last Guardian
Watch Dogs 2

Not to mention the last episode of Batman Telltale whenever that comes out, plus the Return to Arkham collection whenever I feel like playing through those games again.

Will most likely want to play through Pokémon Moon again sometime soon.

RIP to whatever I don't get to before Horizon: Zero Dawn though. Once I get my hands on that, I'm dropping everything and not picking it up until I 100% platinum that thing.
