I was hanging out with my girlfriend as friends for a year and a half before we officially got together. Only got up the guts to ask where she was on us about every 4-5 months. So I feel ya, Chase. When I'm dating someone I wanna be single and when I'm single I wanna be dating someone. I need to find an adequate superposition of those two states to be happy. Where do I find a quantum relationship?

 

Seems like you need a relationship where there is a true respect of balance, or on the flip side just find a balance of the single version.. Not to psychoanalyze ya but I find even in my own life both with friends & lovers there's a point my brain flips from "Wow, it's nice having someone, I really love this/her/my buddies" to "Wow I really need to be alone for awhile, this is too much" (not even cus I dislike anyone, but cus I find I get worn out easily).
I can balance a normal relationship on both ends but I find that need for time for myself is super key. Task is finding the balance. Welp.. lol.
If I'm wrong feel free to tell me stfu, ha. But I feel these feeling before deeply. I know it well. Just speaking from my personal angle/insight.

 

No you're p spot on. I definitely relate to that flipping of feelings where all of a sudden I get weirded out by everything someone does and I just don't wanna be around them. Wanting to be alone to recharge is just a side effect of being introverted, imo.

Exactly thats how I always put it as being an introvert myself. Being social isn't something I hate but it takes energy since it's not who I am, and then I need to recharge. Sometimes it just takes being around people who get that needing some alone time isn't necessarily a strike against them.

 

I like the middle, I'm pursing people but not going all out and enjoying my time alone.

 

Ya I guess that's kind of where I'm at.

 

Me and my girl lowkey compete for who's the sleepiest alive. Swear we both get so worn out by life we can be having pressing convos we both care about deeply and still nod off if we're in that zone lol.

This would traumatize me. I get terrible anxiety when high, especially in situations like that.

 

im aware of the obvious joke but she also has a job that drags her all over the shift map so she can't ever actually get into a cycle her body is use to so she's always exhausted.

Yeah its crazy she'll go through a work week where there will be days she goes in at 7am, 2pm, and 10pm (till 6am) she gets paid decently an hour but that's still no way to work a person. I couldn't imagine anyone doing that.
