no. you aren't. you're standing up front so you can see a band that you paid money to see. you aren't consenting for people to jump on you. this is fucking ludicrous.

Echoing what others have just said. I barely ever go to the front at shows anymore because of people who crowd surf/stage dive. I paid to see the band play, not see people flying at my face

 

like a little pitting is fine if enough people want to and you have a contained area and you are flying into the crowd with no concern for the people who are staying out, yet nobody seems to want to do that

 

If it's a hardcore show - then yes. Maybe I could have made it clearer by specifically referring to hardcore because that's where I firmly believe it to be okay. Like...if it the bands like 'do it' then idk what you want.
