Every time I've popped back into this thread this week it's become a little bit weirder.

 

So heard from a friend last night, that the girl I've been waiting to organise a date with still likes her ex, who has just broken up with his girlfriend with the intention of getting back with her, so it looks like that won't be happening.

 

finally, no sex november is over, so i can move on to don't (engage me either sexually or romantically) december!!

within the last three months or so i have had a "worlds collide" situation where two females friends became friends through separate third party interactions. this is really the first time i've had this happen, in this manner, since college probably. and like all "worlds collide" situations, the results suck.

since all three of us have figured out that we are all individually friends with each other, i'm fairly positive both have become quite territorial of me. i've been friend with one woman for about 8 years, the other one only 2 years.

i'll go out for breakfast with one, and then within a day i'll get a request for dinner from the other.

then a few weeks will pass with just some "hellos" or jokes exchanged and then the cycle repeats itself. currently i'm gearing up for dinner tomorrow night with one, and i just had lunch with the other yesterday. this will make the... 8th time this has happened.

at first i thought maybe it was just ironic timing, but after like the first 3 times of "oneupmanship" going on, they now purposely ask how dinner / breakfast / lunch / hangout went with the other party. and they only ask about each other.

always and forever will be strictly platonic with these two, but seems like very odd behavior.

I have been watching a lot of Friends recently.

I always like to think life is a long running sitcom with all the stupid things we do as people.
