being as Link to the Past is my favorite video game of all time, I really enjoyed Link Between Worlds quite a bit.

Seriously, "Fantasy Life" is one of the most underrated games of all time. It's so impressive and has such fun world to be in.

I haven't played DQ7, Luigi's Mansion, Mario and Luigi Paper Jam.

But I back Attack of the Friday Monsters. Such a cozy little story.

 

3DS is prob my favorite gaming device ever. While there are tons of shovelware on the eshop, there are also lots of gems. Not to mention backwards support.

And then it has MH and Pokemon and Animal Crossing. It had grid based strategy like FE, and traditional JRPG like Bravely Default.

There's always a game for somebody. It's amazing.

My full collection of physical 3DS/DS games plus a full 32GB SD card of eshop games would definitely make the 3DS my "desert island" system. Heck just the RPGs across those two platforms would probably keep me busy for the rest of my life.

 

I want a second controller for my mini NES so so bad.

My wife loves both of the Disney Magical World games as well as Fanasy Life and Animal Crossing. So basically she loves cute life simulators lol.

 

I've been curious about this game. Have you also played Rune Factory 4? I've read that they're sort of similar.

 

Fantasy Life doesn't have farming and waifus.

But the job system is great. The story is more funny than meaty and it is a charming game. If you enjoy games that you can play on auto you'd love FL. The combat also has simple combo moves/skills if you enjoy boss hunting but don't want something too stressful like Monster Hunter.

Also I was a Tailor for a majority of the game and literally spent the first hours of my game in a tailor shop in town. My SO was so pissed because we were on multiplayer and she was a warrior and was getting in on the action outside town haha.

 

I think FL is a great game but a little too repetitive in the end especially when maxing out the jobs.

For a first title in the series, it was awesome. I wished they made a sequel but instead chose to do that random mobile game instead.

 

The preorder for the wireless nes classic controllers are still pending. When?!

 

Rune Factory is Harvest Moon with some combat and fantasy elements (Dragons and so on). Fantasy Life is hard to explain honestly, but it's very different. They do have similiar combat.

 

Just finished Xenoblade Chronicles X.

The last 2 chapters turned crazy real fast. Loved it even with the cringy dialogue.

So many unexpected but pretty cool plot twists. If this gets remastered on switch I'm pretty sure I'll pick it up again.
