So now that ROTR lineup has been released, does anyone have any ideas on a possible Metallica lineup for the states? Maybe:

Volbeat/Amon Amarth/Gojira (only one)
As Lions

 

The crowd went insane for them at the Fillmore, they've grown insanely big.

 

thought i posted this in here, but TWA aren't gonna be touring the US until fall of NEXT year it seems like. 10-18 months is QUITE a while. glad i saw them 3 times this year.

 

How you know about this? I would've seen them possibly doing a spring tour but oh well...

 

dude I had the same thought. After I got over the shock of this line up, i tried to figure out which ones were tours and that was one.

FIR tour got announced finally. Issues is calling it a "triple headliner" so that's interesting.

 

That's weird. There's an obvious order to those three bands but they're tri-headlining. Hm. That would be worth going to, but closest venue is 7.5 hours for me so looks like I'm skipping it lol

 

Anyone know when the State Champs headliner is supposed to get announced? Curious about the openers and which venue in Chicago they play.

 

I could see Metallica touring with Volbeat, Amon Amarth, Gorjira, and even In Flames maybe.

Any other possible tours you think from ROTR?

 

It won't happen, but I'd be down for an Every Time I Die/Deafheaven/Norma Jean tour!

All guesses, most are pretty far off I suppose but plausible.

 

I feel like TSSF/ETID/Turnstile could happen.

It's only a matter of time before TSSF take Turnstile out

If ETID do one more fucking support tour I'm gonna lose it.

And no one knows openers for Breaking Benjamin. That being said, this thread is always on top of things.
