Tempted to order World of FF. $40 ain't bad.

 

It's one of the most delightful and joyful games I've played all year. I was just about to die with how adorable the chibi characters were, and there's a lot of really fun fanservice. I was super satisfied with it.

 

only around 2 and half hours in, but god do I love everything about this so far.

 

I'm so happy

 

Listening to the FF13 music in the car reminds me that that's my favorite video game soundtrack of all time, and probably a big reason why I love that game so much.

 

I kinda wish for the older games they would've done something like had Distant Worlds tracks instead of tracks from the actual game

Like instead of having PS1 quality FF7/8 tracks having the newer symphony arrangements to match the FFXV feel

XIII is obviously exempt from that though

 

If that's my biggest complaint so far though then this is a damn good game

 

Yeah that would have been sweet. I have noticed that you can buy more albums from shops though (so far I've only seen FFV) so something like that might be in there, or at least should be.

 

I hope so! I've only seen IV and II for sale so far, I must have missed FFV, damn.

 

I think it might have been sold by the shopkeep close to that fancy restaurant where Dino is hanging out at the beginning of the game.

It's installed, I'm starting it, the feels are coming out.

 

I just had to stop for a couple hours because I had dinner plans, this is the hardest thing I had to do all day.

I want to do nothing else but play this game.

me: im going to make dinner in 5 minutes
<keeps playing game for another 2 hours>
me: fuck.....

 

I even spent 30 minutes on that damn pinball minigame last night

 

Still have 45 minutes of the patch download :(

 

Sooooo happy at your guys' reactions. I may not even get to play tonight but I'm glad to hear you guys are enjoying it.

 

This game is incredible. I have no words to explain just how happy I am.

Also, the rendition of Stand by Me by Florence is absolutely beautiful.

 

I have no idea what I'm doing, but I love it. Also there are aspects of this that are straight up Monster Hunter

 

I'm still in chapter 1 because of how side tracked I've been. Doing all the hunts, side quests, there's so much to do.

 

So early impressions:

This game is incredible. It's been so long since I've felt this way starting a new game. I'm wasting so much time exploring, and finding everything I can. It's especially strange for me, because usually I want to dive into the story head first. I've played for four hours today, I'm level 14 and still haven't finished chapter 1. Obviously very early but I am loving this. The interactions between the four characters is so much fun and honestly already has me invested in all of them.

 

Watching the movie right now. Enjoying it and damn is it gorgeous.

Some random cat that came to my door is also watching it. I'm so confused.

 

The camera angle during combat is roouuggghh though

 

I just finished the tutorials. My install took like 15 minutes top (including the patch I think - version 1.02?).

I do worry about the darn camera but.....Here. We. Go.

 

Just went into the first dungeon I found and got murdered. I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing haha
