I was more talking about the "swear you won't come back" dialogue that was cringe-worthy. Also, when the two women were walking her back to the bridge, did they both shoot? Or just the other woman? And it's one thing for the one woman to not believe to shoot everyone the camp comes across, but it's a whole other thing to risk her life and shoot all the walkers to let Tara escape. She hardly knew Tara, why would she waste the time and the bullets to do that? Seconds after her peer tried to kill her?

she risked a lot to secretly help her the first time so it wasn't that out there to me that she'd do it again. maybe she's just nice lol? I like to believe there's nice ppl still who genuinely wanna do the right thing. I think she was the only one shooting. it looked like tara was out of sight by the time the other two came to collect the sniper girl, so they just moved on, probs not wanting to get caught by negan if they ventured out for her too far away. idk. some ridic things happened but I didn't think that scene was too unbelievable. maybe I just like sunshine and rainbows!

The girl that let Tara live was never going to shoot her, and she was regarded as an excellent shot earlier in the episode. Her being a good sniper when Tara was leaving came as no surprise to me.

Edit: Yeah the above posts I hadn't seen share the same thoughts.

At least they've introduced the obligatory 'little girl mid season death' character.

Writers are probably gonna set Tara up with that sniper chick now that Tara knows Denise is dead. There was some textbook lady flirting in their scenes.

Tara has to be the safest person on the show after the publics outrage over shows killing gay characters.

The one you're talking about saved her 3 times and never wanted to kill her...and they had mentioned earlier in the episode that she was a "good shot".

I haven't seen any spoilers regarding that. I just know Gimple usually likes to build up smaller characters just to kill them later on.

This show could really use a John Wick cameo.

I actually enjoyed it too and Tara was good comic relief after I don't think I remember her being so funny and quirky.
I liked it. Not sure if it was the beach but reminded me of a LOST episode

And also she was a child lets not forget who be naive with "swear" even in this world

I'm glad to see a second and maybe 3rd (the one who got rifle I'm sure is) oceanic/polynesian person from my side of the world on a walking dead series

Just got back from Atlanta. Was super cool seeing everything down there.

    Was able to see

    Woodbury
    ASZ
The house where Carl gets all the pudding
The train tracks they're constantly seen walking on
    Terminus
    Ricks house
    Morgans house
The warehouse were they had the cops hostage
The bridge where Rick walks into the city in S1

    I think that's it...

We also ate at Nic and Norman's which was delicious.

All in all, a great trip, a lot of fun driving around seeing all the places.

Are any of these things close to downtown Atlanta? I'm going to be there tonight and tomorrow with just a little bit of time to kill and my own rental car...

The exciting things (Woodbury, ASZ, etc.) are all in Senoia, which is about 40 minutes away. If you can make that you'll see some real cool things. There's a lot around Atlanta, but not as memorable/iconic as the things in Senoia.

This is the map I used, you'll see there's a lot in Downtown ATL, but it's still like where the tank was in the city, which I wouldn't really recognize.

Thanks!!! I'm going to check this out when I land and get my car... I'll be in Stockbridge tomorrow which I don't think is any closer to Senoia, but I think I'll make the trip.

You can see ASZ from Woodbury, there's only a row of evergreens separating the two. If you can make it, you'll enjoy it since you'll see both.

That's good to know because that's more incentive to go if I know I can see more than one thing in that area!

I finally have to say I agree with a lot of people in here for once, this was a bad ep. Not because of the story, I actually liked the new group and how they connected to Negan, but because of the acting and comical zombie scenes. Tera's acting only seems decent when she is being sarcastic, but on top of that the terrible zombie fight scenes made this seem like a b movie when everything on this show has always been great. I don't think I've ever seen a horde of walkers ever being so non threatening.

Even though this ep was a little slow, I still don't know what I would have cut out. It all seems important and will come into play later.

It's obvious that Tera is safe for awhile, when Rick and Ezekiel start trying to get everyone together, she'll probably be the one to suggest the women help.

What is ppp and where did Heath go?!

I must now go to the source Supporter

Heath went to 24: Legacy. He is currently only slated to appear in this one episode this season, so who knows. Maybe he'll come back next year. Maybe.

Apparently the only person who knows what PPP stands for is Scott Gimple.

Is this like a guided tour? Or do you just go about and find your own stuff?

Also, I remember reading an article about a year ago about about the real Alexandria and how people were complaining about the filming there, basically saying they turned their neighborhood into a ghost town and wouldn't let them walk/drive around during the day.

I just drove around, there's tons of sites online that provide addresses/coordinates so it's very easy to find. Some of the bigger sets like The Kingdom, the prison, etc. are all on studio lots so you can't get to them, but most are just public spaces you can drive up to and take pictures.

I can imagine when filming it'd be that way, but when I went this weekend, it was fine. It's a quite little town anyway with not that many houses. Here's the Google map. I circled three different things, the top is Woodbury, the middle is the train tracks where Michone, Rick, and Carol walk along, also down a little bit there's a bridge that a lot was shot at as well, and lastly the bottom is ASZ. You can see there's some houses around it, but not a ton, and there's a lot of other streets they could use.
